You're very welcome! So pleased the video was helpful for your course. Out of interest what are you covering on your History of Psychology course? Back when I did that module we covered things like WWI and Shell Shock, as well as Wittgenstein amongst other things...

@BearitinMIND this lecture is for the first year of undergraduate in psychology at the university of Lausanne in Switzerland. We covered domain from Hume to Psychology in Germany, Switzerland in the U.S.A and also a little bit of psychoanalysis in the same way as you did. No Wittgenstein unfortunatly. By the way I also have a question ahah. In the UK is Lacan influent ? In France he is almost a semi God for the psychoanalysist...

@@lucaerard1832 really interesting to learn of the different content covered in different courses/uni round the world! I've never come across the work of Lacan - never got a mention in my undergraduate studies and I've never come across his work since. How interesting again that certain cultures/countries have been influenced to greater or less extents by different psychologists.

Would this also be relevant to edexcel, if you know?
@BearitinMIND
@BearitinMIND 4 ай бұрын
Yep - it most certainly will. According to the Edexcel A-level Psychology exam specification you need to know: Classical conditioning 4.1.1 The main features of classical conditioning, including: unconditioned stimulus (UCS); unconditioned response (UCR); conditioned stimulus (CS); neutral stimulus (NS); conditioned response (CR); extinction, spontaneous recovery and stimulus generalisation. 4.1.2 Pavlov (1927) experiment with salivation in dogs You also need to know about Operant conditioning to check out that video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5qacnpunaafedUsi=ZD4KnTBzTtof5C7q And you also need to know about explaining and treating phobias - so check these videos out: EXPLAINING: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGaWd2iGrtupqacsi=RJnBp5fPCQt_Nq_Q TREATING: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIbXl4Osqthrgcksi=y0qp-eeLbyz-MJBj And here's the Edexcel exam specification so you can see exactly what you need to cover: qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/A%20Level/Psychology/2015/specification-and-sample-assessments/AL-Specification-Psychology.pdf
