I think there is also something called wage mis-perception here. When price level increases, workers think real wages have increased, and they therefore are willing to supply more labour due to this misperception. I think it’s a good idea to draw a separate graph that depicts the relationship between nominal wage and employment so that it’s clear where the misperception lies. As the workers realize their real wage has gone down, they will demand higher nominal wages, and with rising nominal wages accompanied by higher price levels, they will find that they go back to where they started in real terms, only that they now have a higher figure of nominal wage.
