Aww, that's so sweet! It just takes so much extra time and energy to film, and I am not equipped with the right camera, lighting, etc. I am really enjoying the ease of just being able to record my voice, perhaps I could post a photo to go along with each podcast?

When I first started homeschooling my son, I did exactly what you said many others tend to do and went with the classical method. However, after a year and a half of that, we began to feel a bit enslaved by it. We then did more of a traditional method. I was actually drawn to Charlotte Mason's approach to learning through living books before I knew much about her or her philosophies. When I heard a teaching on the CM approach a couple of years ago, it really resonated with me, and we have embraced it to a large degree. My son is already in 10th grade, and I'm wondering where the time went. I understand what you're saying about the Greeks and the ancient thinkers...they should not be celebrated as heroes. We are currently studying the Middle Ages, and I'm getting ideas from the resources you have shared for that time period. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your wisdom and your materials. I don't know that we will have time to go back into ancient history in too much depth, but I will surely check out the paper you wrote about the cautions regarding Greek thought
