Sir I think you've missed small volume ( d tao ) while writing equation for electric field at starting of lecture. Maybe I'm wrong. Please correct me if you can. I'm glad I found this playlist. I've been watching your every videos. Thanks a lot

Yes, at 2:55, the differential volume should be written at the end of the integral. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hello sir, where can I find the Electromagnetism Playlist on your channel. Is it the one for IIT JAM ?
@ProfSivakumarRajagopalan3 жыл бұрын
I have started the MSc level Electrodynamics recently. Hence more videos will be added every other day. The playlist for MSc level Classical Electrodynamics kzbin.info/www/bejne/fn6WfXeXrJJmq68 Playlist for BSc level Electromagnetism kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYTNkJqYgrlmrdE

Yes sir, I had spoken to you about this few days back. In the above video you said that we could use the basic electromagnetics lecture for reference, to revise basic concept. So I was just wanting to know.
@ProfSivakumarRajagopalan3 жыл бұрын
@@yashshah17 What I said in that video is that, if anyone wants to refresh their memory on notations and symbols, they can refer to my BSc level lecture kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5qbf4CAqdplkMk

Sir..what is the difference between unit vector and component of a vector.?
@gokulakannanp40133 жыл бұрын
Unit vector is a vector having unit magnitude. It is used to denote the direction of one of the coordinate axes. Component of a vector along one of the coordinate axes, is the magnitude of that vector along that particular direction.

Sir can u tell me if I can pursure research in physics along with engineering????????
@ProfSivakumarRajagopalan2 жыл бұрын
Some students do research in Physics and Astrophysics after completing an engineering degree. So, the answer is yes, especially when you get into a prestigious institution.

Sir when you will upload next video ?
@ProfSivakumarRajagopalan3 жыл бұрын
I will be uploading mathematical physics and electrodynamics in some alternate days. In the last four days, I have done lectures for vector spaces.

I think we should use different symbols for partial derivatives and vector components, otherwise it will be difficult during the derivations. Sir you have explained the concepts extremely well, thank you. 21374052
