I listen to this when I am on the verge of breaking. On the verge of giving up. On the verge of doing something people never thought I would ever do. But then this suddenly does something to me. It doesnt take away my hurt, my pain, my grief, or my regret. No. It makes me feel like I am not alone anymore. And its exactly that which keeps me pushing on. Music is my passion and my outlet. Thank you for inspiring me even further to express myself in such a beautiful way. You truly are amazing.

@XxModernDayRaiderxX Gothic Music has nothing to do with the ancient Culture of Goths^^ Gothic Music is Part of the Dark Wave Subculture and doesn't have its Origin from the historical Meaning of "Goth" but from the english Adjective "gothic = gloomy, dark, obscure".

"We are as forlorn as children lost in the woods. When you stand in front of me and look at me, what do you know of the griefs that are in me and what do I know of yours. And if I were to cast myself down before you and weep and tell you, what more would you know about me than you know about Hell when someone tells you it is hot and dreadful? For that reason alone we human beings ought to stand before one another as reverently, as reflectively, as lovingly, as we would before the entrance to Hell." Its from Franz Kafka letter - and he was only 20 years old when he wrote that.... I thought that the song and this quote fit perfectly.

Adrian, your emotional music doesn't manufacture emotions; it brings to the surface of the heart emotions that already reside there, and even illuminates feelings that usually stay hidden in the dark. Very powerful.

The music from Adrian always make me think of forests and rivers flowing, and thrilling quests and fairytales and hounting gosts, but most of all of fantasy wich makes me so happy and light, instead of the teardropping reality of cruelty we see all day as we watch the news and read the papers; his music brings me back to life ! Thank you for that!

what is there beyond what our eyes can see? What is beyond what our fingertips can touch? What can there be that matters more than the joy (and the pain) that we experience here? Life.... this fragile realm that encompasses so many souls, lost and found alike, mostly lost, because we all don't know the one truly important thing here and what the true purpose we have here is. Why are we born and why do we die? If we don't live for love or for anyone but ourselves, we are empty. Just walking, talking shells. There is no poetry and there is no reason. We are just like bunch of words without any meaning but that of just existing and endless lines, endlessly winding like perpetual roads leading to nowhere important.

So you tell us here that the life is about love? Sorry no offense but that's pure bs. It's like the so called Christians include 5000 other religions teaching us about love and afterlife (when in fact there's nothing after we die.) Grow the f up. Life is too short and has nothing to do about love or whatever. You already answered your question, our life has no purpose and no meaning. We live it once and make sure to live your life to the fullest.

Love hurts and you can't fix that. I have Emotional thoughts running through my head...like: "I feel Lonely every single day of my life. But I'm ashamed to admit that to the people who do and don't love me." "Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control." "Trust gets you killed, love gets you hurt, and being real gets you hated." I Think Of You. I just can't talk to you right now. I Miss You. I just can't admit right now. I Need You. I just can't show you right now. I Love You. I just can't tell you right now. etc...but you get where I'm going to and from. Who is listening to this music in 2017?? And if you have emotional thoughts like these, please reply or comment. It's okay to share stories if you will. I am a listening person and caring person in this world. But just don't see it, or believe that I am. People don't see what I see, or what I feel. But eventually when our death soon comes, it all shall fade away in time, for those to remember us by, and to never forget who we are, for who we were. And maybe we will be given a second chance life, very rare does it happen.

Well, I'm listening to this in May 2018 and I have emotional thoughts all of the time. I first discovered Adrian's music in 2011 when I was 13. Yep, I was only a teen then, but, even so, my soul had already been pushed to the shadows by the sorrow; since then, I've been wadering in the darkness amongst demons and gohsts of my past, just trying to survive, helpless, weeping suppliant, upon the fading light in my heart. I can share some of my stories, I mean, I could bare my soul to you: a quick glance around is enough to realize that's nothing more than a poison fume caught in the shell of a human, a creature that's supposed to be meant for the pure light of love. Sometimes this seems so surreal as if I were a dark entity that just doesn't belong to this realm. I don't have any suicidal thoughts btw, I'm just saying that the pain inside of me burns so much sometimes (like a fire in my chest that burns without being seen) that I can't help but feel strange in this world.

i get bothered too. here's mine: I feel torn every day of my life and i'm tired of it. i trusted you and you betrayed me. i begged you for aid but you turned away. i showed you the bruises but you said it was a ruse. i showed you my heart and you tore it apart i tried to live in the light but every day was a fight i looked at the veil and i felt peace. i can see there is no place for my life in the light i forsake the light and join the night Now i have a chance to rejoin the light. yet within my heart there is still doubt will you show the kindness of light or will i go away into the night and once more go into the night. okay to thats my story. Fun facts: i actually came home from school with actual injuries from bullies that i should have told my folks about sooner. My grandmother, not understanding why i was so upset in school took the schools advice and had me tested for a mental disorder which we only fully understood later, and has become a fad illness. we actually thought it would be a temporary thing but were NOT informed that this was permanent. i don't believe the company, which is switching over to another company, will allow me to stay by myself in a home that's been fully paid off and will force me into a group home. i'm willing to wait and see what they do *BUT* if i'm right and i am forced into a group home i will go public with my story and findings.

Mr. Ziegler.. Let me just say that this is incredible. It resonates with me, deep in my soul, where true being resides. I plan on listening to your music much more frequently, because even as I type this, ideas for my next book are forming in my head. And the scope of your music makes me believe that I can make this new story long and dark and deep and beautiful. My soul on paper, just as yours is in your music. We're kindred spirits, you and I. Your music is hauntingly wonderful. Thank you.

Powerful, moving with a sense of melancholy. It reminds me of walks i use to take in an old neighborhood close through a field in the fall. Those walks in the Myst at night and a creamy moon filtering through the clouds always invoked a haunted feeling in my soul; as if I was a lost soul in a Hammer film. Later after walking home I would return to my attic window with a glass of wine and admire the spectacle with my headphones on with music like this. It's such a feeling. Thank you.
