Oh my goodness. i love this. just look at the mastery in taal. i am a hindustani vocalist and i need to work on my taal. i would probably benifit from learning kathak. at least the basics.

For me, the most beautiful point was at 5:35 when audience breaks into applause after seeing the spins however none of performers are visibly gloating because performers are super focused and they get pleasure all throughout with their discipline and deep work. They are continuously elated and immediately continue with the last piece with same precision, in an unflattering way.

The fact that you performed as well as said all the bol clearly (without hesitating because of shortness of breath) is truly admirable.. 🙏🏻❤ being a kathak dancer myself I know it is very hard to say the bol without a break immediately after performing the piece and you did it phenomenally!!

К нам в Набережные Челны в России приехала прекрасная танцовщица из Индии! Она делала то же самое, что и эта: что-то считала и напевала! Была одета в прекрасный костюм из шёлка и танцевала просто великолепно! И так был влюблён в индийскую музыку, но тут ещё понял её строй! В антракте зрителям разрешили потрогать инструменты! Ситар-суперинструмент! Почитаю в интернете как он устроен! To us in Naberezhnye Chelny in Russia came a beautiful dancer from India! She was doing the same thing as this: counting and humming! Was dressed in a beautiful silk dress and danced just great! And so was in love with Indian music, but then I realized her system! During the intermission, the audience was allowed to touch the instruments! Sitar super-tool! Read on the Internet how it works!

OHP77 Haha much appreciated 😊 It's a classical north-Indian dance called Kathak. It's a technical part of it where all the dance steps should fit into a 16-beat rhythmic cycle called teentaal. Dance rhythmic sylabs match with percussion beats played on instrument called Tabla. Glad you liked it 😊 Cheers!
