I think you're fantastic. You do so much to try to translate for everyone. I love the family dynamic they have. All the things you talked about regarding Dimash's priorities and principles are much of why so many of us Dears love him. tell me is there another singer of such a level, with such fame, who would invite grandparents to his concerts, and then sing on his knees in front of them ?! moreover, completely sincerely, as if the whole world lives just like that! Do you know such an example? who, as popular as Dimash, would have parents go to concerts, and who praised them so much from the stage !? it's just a message from God! - Dimash - this is how it should be in the world!

Soon I will be recommending a male vocalist who I consider as good as Dimash in one specific genre : love / love lost ballads. Other than that , Dimash is the best pop-op vocalist in the world. After his amazing success in the "Singer" the Kazakhstan Government decided to sponsor his first solo concert in Bastau. His opening song is "Qazaqstan" in which he celebrates his country and it's culture. The Giant Golden Eagle is the Symbol of his country along with the Golden Dancers. With an audience of 48,000 people his father knew that this concert would determine the future of his son's career. His performances in this concert ensured his Megastar status. Also the relief on his father's face at the end as he embraced his son was very moving. I believe that Nothing can now stop him from becoming the biggest name in world music and it couldn't happen to a nicer young man. 😊🏴👍

Yes, that's what it's all about. I love their relationships. And it speaks volumes about who Dimash is a person. Dimash is always grateful to his fans, but in his live he said that you can get used to fame and recognition, but at the end of the day, what motivates him the most is his family. The happiness and pride of his grandmother and his family are his greatest reward. You haven't seen more recent performances, but even so, you can see how his voice has matured since this performance.

I love this heartwarming family performance. I've jumped into the comments section before even watching the video, hehe. It's very nice of you to congratulate Dimash's grandpa on his birthday. Btw, did you know that Dimash, as the eldest grandchild, was raised by his grandparents according to the Kazakh tradition? He actually calls his grandmother Mama. And that's why he went to kneel in front of her, while singing this song. I think Dimash dedicated this song to both his mom Sveta and his grandmother. They are a very supportive and loving big family.
@ruthmanning1054 жыл бұрын
Thank you for making this point because I think this got lost in Josh’s reaction. It is primarily his grandparents that this song is dedicated to - they are ‘Mama & Papa’ to Dimash and he grew up thinking they were his parents until he about 12 years old. It is also to them at the Singer that Dimash refers to in China in 2017 and is seen after SOS & Opera 2 (round 1) phoning them late at night (they were waiting up) to tell that he had won the first round and he says ‘Mama, please don’t cry, the honour belongs to you’. Their importance is increasingly getting lost as time goes by but they are the ones that Dimash is closest to. Therefore, in this performance Kanat is the one who gestures Dimash towards them & it is truly humbling to see him kneel before them to honour them. Plymouth UK 🇬🇧

Josh I so appreciate your sincere and loving reactions to Dimash. It is his loving and humble personality, his family values, and his dedication to his music, that makes me love this beautiful man with the golden voice! An interesting family fact - Dimash was raised by his grandparents who he called mama & papa along with his parents. He was 11 years old before they told him Sveta & Kanat were his parents not his brother & sister. The story is that a teacher mentioned Sveta to him and called her mum - he was upset by this and then they told him. They must have worked it all out because there is SO much love between everyone in this family - it's very moving! Sveta & Kanat have performed many, many times together & with other couples so they are very comfortable singing together & on TV. All three have sung together a few times also. The family is part of the cultural elite in Kazakhstan and he's been surrounded by musicians and singers all his life. I'll echo others & say that you will definitely love MARIGOLDS (Chornobrivtsi) a beautiful Ukranian folk song which he learnt & sang at his recent Kiev concert. He sang it for Sveta sitting in the audience who had tears streaming down her face by the end of it. Dimash sang it so tenderly and it's exquisitely beautiful! Thanks again Josh for your very heart-felt and thorough reactions! I have seen this video before and you're right. Dimash credits his family for his success ; he was raised by his grandparents in the Kazakh custom. The father gives their first born son to his parents to raise. In this way, they impart their wisdom and pass on all of the culture of many years. They live together as an extended family. I've seen an interview with Dimash's parents who said as a newly married couple they sometimes felt a bit cramped for privacy, but they choose to carry on the traditions and culture of their country. I doubt there are any old peoples' homes in Kazakhstan. Thank you for your reaction. Someone in these comments said that your personality is like Dimash's and they are correct. You are very tender hearted and appreciate everything about Dimash. I look forward to your next reaction. (This is Patricia, Jerry's wife)

Do you know, that Svetlana and Dimash had the same voice teacher? Marat Aitimov. When Svetlana was pregnant with Dimash, she was singing for hours a day in Marats class. Dimash started with 14 or 15 in Marats class. Once he was moved. Dimash won an award in China and gave his teacher the Credit and thanked him. He couldn't believe it, when his friends told him in the messages. He said, it's not normal, that a student is like Dimash. Dimash sang with him the Italian song from the godfather movie on stage in Kreml Palast, Russia. The song is called "Brucia la terra". For good English translations about Dimash I know a few channels. One of them is the Dimash Deutschland Fanclub channel. It's a German Channel. But here people with more than one language skill for example perfect German and at least one motherlanguage makes the translations. We have chinese, Russian, kazakh, Italian and other members. If needed even Korean subs. The father of one member from Dimash Multicultural Club. In Facebook i am in several FC. For deeper informations about all interviews, biographies, song histories, news and lyric translations I recommend the Dimash Multicultural Club on FB. This Club made an exclusive interview too with the Italian director from the science fiction movie Creators the past. He is composer of the soundtrack tooand producer of the MV. He talks a lot about Dimash, how he found him and the song he composed especially for him. What a great human being he is. Not only talented. They had to use 3 different singers for let Dimash hear the song. You can find it in the Yt Channel I mentioned, if you are interested. It wasn't upload long ago. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 and Italy 🇮🇹

FYI....I don’t want to forget. Please look for the comment by “spatter you” below. That is Dimash’s huge production concert called Arnau. During that concert he paid great honor to his grandparents. At first I was completely and utterly star struck by Dimash. My strong curiosity needed to know more about him. I didn’t listen to all his performances on KZbin first. Instead I went on a search about who was Dimash? I found this concert and many more things about him and his amazing family. Dimash is blessed with an extraordinary family. His grandparents raised a beautiful young man. When I see how he glows and expresses his love for his family and all people his voice truly transcends anything I have ever heard. That’s when I truly fell in love with Dimash. Somehow you was guided to find this concert. It wasn’t an accident. Thanks for sharing though now and then I go back to this family performance to remind me this is what life is about.

I meant you having technical issues with your device is what led you to Dimash’s family performance. There is an amazing vocalist I know you will enjoy is Park Hyo Shin. If your interested search his name with Eng subs and his song “Wild flower “‘. Some KZbin reactors has reacted to him. He will stun you from the beginning. Chen Hua Yucis immensely talented and very famous in Chinese. For me his lyrics are too immersed into the deep Chinese culture. I am Chinese American and I lose his a interpretation

Another opportunity where he appreciated his parents, and his mother in particular, was during a concert in Kiyiv, Ukraine, this year, where he made the audience sing a well-known Ukrainian folk song named "Marigolds" for his mother, who was in the audience, on International Mother's Day. I would recommend that song as one of the next reactions to further expand on the topic.
