@@hexabr Nothing against Karolina, but a violinist and a professional classical violinist are not the same thing. They don't live in the same world, it's a completely different ballgame. It's like saying Lindsay Stirling is as good of a violinist as Hilary Hahn. Classical violinists, even prodigies are required and always train their arts to perfection. You cannot make even the most minute mistake when you do a classical concert. You miss a note in pop violin play, literally no one cares.

@@Palmleaf23 You talk absolute nonsense. Karolina is a true 'great' in various genres of popular music, and is fast becoming a very accomplished classical violinist after years of tuition and hard practice. Just before last Christmas she was the violin soloist in a performance of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E Minor with the Orchestra Nova LA. A year earlier (November 2022) she gave a violin recital of Sarasate's 'Caprice Basque Opus 24' which was not easy for someone just turned 14 to play. Both these performances are on her Vlog channel. Also your inference that popular music is somehow inferior to classical music is a tad condesending.

Rey you're a man of all seasons.. You're inspiring many players and boosting their esteem..You make everything possible... You're REAL in doing music not like many other over RESERVED professional players

Excellent video Ray. Watching you and Karolina perform together was amazing. It is not the genre of the music that's being played that matters, but the individual who is playing. The passion, skill, dedication and focus is what comes through to me. You and Karolina both have all that and more. Truly a pleasure to listen to. Loved the K and R News logo that was thrown up during the interviews. ❤👍😃

Even if Ray and Karolina played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, the crowd would be amazed because they are both exceptional violinists and entertainers. That said, I loved to see the happiness on people's faces when Ray played Vivaldi. Congratulations on a great video!

When Ray started to play, tears welled up in my eyes. The music deeply touched my heart. This is how I perceive the difference between pop and classical music. I could listen to Ray playing Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto all day long.
