I’m only 17, but Opera has been my favorite genre of music my entire life. I’ll never tire of imagining myself in a giant theater, watching the singers perform with such beautiful grace.. My love for Opera will never die. For I cannot forget such beauty..

I started to listen to opera and classical music when I was 13. At that time Presley and others were big and the stuff was crap. I still listen to this only on a daily basis and I am now 72. It develops your gray cells and you learn unknowingly systemically and orderly development of thought process. I even have my nephew and niece playing classical music and opera to their 3 children ages 3yrs.-4 months old. Even cows are more productive listening to Mozart.

There's rock, folk, jazz, country, soul and many other genres but for depth, beauty, range and scintillating sound, there is only opera. This comment section is so comforting, I’m 14 and I love opera. I started to listen to it when I was 13. My friends don’t like or have the same interests as me. But opera is truly on of a kind. I started listening to Opera when I was a young girl before my teens I also watch the old black and white musical on TV as a child. I think it's a past life thing. Don't keep yourself away from things you love and stay away from people that give you a hard time about being happy.

The Madame Butterfly "Un beldi, verdremo" is the best rendering of the aria I have ever heard. Such amazing deep emotion. It hit so hard. When you hear it, you really, really beleive it. It touched my soul, my heart, like no other aria.

I am 17 and I love classics (from sonatas to operas to even old dances). Some might find it strange but alot of my friends are into this. It's calming and refreshing, especially when doing homework or before bed. The Victorian era and the arts that springed up from then has also interested me. History and arts are just a love for me, I guess. 😂😂
