The Canik MC9 Just Got Better (MC9L & MC9LS)

I picked up an MC9LS last week and took it to the range and put 225 rds through it. Must say it ran flawless and I really enjoyed the whole showing experience with the longer slide/barrel and grip. 17 rounds on board and a very strong competitor to the Sig P365X-Macro. would be good to see a comparison video. It does have a great trigger with one exception is they could reduce the long take-up and I will probably end up putting a FreedomSmith Fat Daddy 2 trigger in it to take care of that problem as this is what I did with my MC-9.

I love my MC9 because Of almost every aspect of it. On the other hand, seeing the upgraded versions made me fall more in love with this brand. I am definitely going to get a MC9 LS as my 2nd as a still new shooter/Gun Owner. Being able to have the best of all 3 worlds of the same lineup. If I had a chance to work for Canik as gun smith or comp. Shooter, I wouldn’t hesitate. 💯💪🏽

Canik has done a great job with the Mc9L. There is only a 2.3 cm difference in length with the classic Mc9, but this difference disappears when a long magazine is attached to the classic Mc9, and in this case, the renewed Mc9L provides the user with a superior control. However, Canik should minimize the 2.3 cm difference between the lengths, and can achieve this with a 15-round magazine and achieve a very stylish look by designing it completely without a magwell. Canik should definitely make a 15-round magazine for the Mc9L

I still love my original MC9 .... Place it in a nice IWB holster from Muddy River and load it with Hornady 147 gr subsonic HP, and it is perfectly concealable and not nearly as snappy as it is with, say, federal 124 gr range ammo.

Been in my rotation the past yr... get some Taylor Freelance hardware for your MC9. PROBLEM SOLVED w/o the extra barrel length. TF totally fixed MC9 grip & capacity, right out the gate. & if ya want a lil more weight, they make brass backstraps, too!

When Canik releases a product to market, it is always readily available pretty much everywhere. The MC9LS and the HK CC9 were both released within ~one week of each other. HK CC9’s might as well not even be considered released to market. I see a couple on (rhymes with) run poker for well over a grand which is insane.

I own an MC9 and it’s still a great gun. But it would be better if you got rid of the lower rear gap on the grip when using the 15rd mag. So making a better mag plate for it would be great for those who already own one. That empty void on the lower part of the palm really leaves an imprint after shooting 200+ rounds. But I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the L series.

Need a new back strap S,M,L , and thin which is way smaller then the small size . Because you can always grip a smaller and thinner pistol grip , but some might not be able to PROPERLY grip a larger pistol grip

I duty carry a canik mete sfx from the influencer pack and I love it. The mecanik red dot and olight flashlight made for a great all in one duty pistol. I have one suggestion...Canik you NEED a 10 mil pistol!
