I loaded 10 rounds once on a SFx Rival and out of those 10, 6 were head shots in a 1" group on a paper target at 30 yards. No Comp, no Red Dot... nothing on it. That pistol is one of those gems that leaves you speechless when pulling the trigger... Simply amazing and the best race gun under $700.

The Canik Mete SFT was my first and only Canik so far and I love it. Everytime I take it to the range and let someone else shoot it they always comment on how amazing the gun shoots. Caniks have always been sleepers and its great to see them finally getting the love they deserve.

I bought the Canik TP9 Elite SC for CC and home defense. The holster that came with it works very well in appendix style, even though the belt clips could be a little stiffer. At 71, I had to have Canik send me the lower tension recoil spring as I couldn't rack the slide. Canik was very nice when I emailed them and did not charge me for the weaker spring. I have Canik's own red dot, the MeCanik MO1, fully automatic, shake awake, 10 auto brightness levels, multi-year battery life - it is amazing.

The TP9 Sub is the pistol that got me interested in Canik. I have a friend with one, who let me try it at the range. First time picking it up, I shot a 6"group at 35yds with it. First time. For about $400. That is insane.

4 Canik’s here as well! TP9 Elite Combat. Mete SFX. Elite SC and Mete MC9. Another benefit is with the exception of the 12 rd mags in the bigger guns, all other mags are interchangeable.

I have the Mete SFX, and I had a problem with it. It was shooting 3-6 inches high and to the left. Bore laser confirmed something was off, and it took some time to convince Canik/Century Arms. But once I did, they had me send it in for repair. The confirmed the barrel was not to spec, but took months of waiting for a new barrel before they gave up and sent me a whole new gun. I need to test that one ASAP, but I am glad they are trying to help by giving me a new one. Just wish it was a faster process.

You overlooked the Canik METE SF. This is the 15-round compact size. A wonderful pistol that has gotten very little fanfare. Not s tiny micro 9 and not a huge full-sized pistol. Very worthy pistol that should get more attention.

EXACTLY! I don't understand it at all. My mete sf just arrived at my local ffl but I'm unfortunately in NJ and it takes our permit forever to be completed. I originally was looking at the SFT but was surprised by how big it is. I had done a TON of research and finally stumbled across the SF. I can't believe there isn't more reviews/videos/articles about the SF.....especially because it's almost identical size to the Glock 19 and we all know just how popular they 19's are.

Don’t forget to mention all the goodies you get when buying a canik , stuffs like back straps, tools, optic mounts if it’s cut out for it , even mag plates . Canik is the affordable shadow system and is bringing the heat to glock, who have not change much since it got popular .

I would take canik and a shadow systems iver a Glock any day. To me caniks are better glocks. They just haven’t been around nearly as long. That’s the only argument people can make. Caniks extremely reliable guns.

The Canik TP9DA was the first pistol I ever purchased. The capacity, the trigger, the weight, and the color had me hooked from the beginning. Then once I saw what you got in the case it was a wrap. I have since added the Elite SF, SFX, Elite SC, Mete SFT, Rival, and both Miami versions. It’s still a few more models I want to get. I recommend to anybody choose one that fits your hand and rent it at the range. You will not be disappointed and you’re a customer.

I love going to the range with new shooter's and letting them use my TP9SF One Series. It's solid, well made, and big enough to mitigate recoil for newer shooters. Can't wait to get the MC9, METE SFx Pro, Rival, and TP9 Elite Combat Executive....... and probably whatever else they come out with.

I used to want the elite combat more than any of them. I got it and love it. Then I got the Mete SFT and I actually like it more than the Elite Combat. The Mete SFT holds 18+1 and 20+1 and you keep your rear sights when you put in an optic, whereas the elite combat is 15+1/18+1 and you lose your rear sights when you put in an optic.

I wished the combat grip was about 2 or 3 cm longer. I've taken the magwell off and they feel perfect but with the magwell on my fingers feel a tad too cramped and a few cm would make a huge difference. I wonder if you put a Leupold delta point pro if the add on rear sight would line up good enough for a good zero. I know some places make mounting plates with built in rear sight.

I've been a Canik fan for a few years at least. I have the TP9SF, TP9DA, TP9SFX, TP9 Elite, and TP9 Elite SC. All in the black ceracoat editions, except for the SFX, which is the black/tungsten combo. The TP9DA is an interesting one and a great carry gun, since it has a compact size (4 inch barrel), can use the full size 18rd mags (and 20rd mags), but also has a double action trigger mode for safer carry. It is almost identical in size and capacity to a Glock 19X.

I’ve got a Canik TP9 DA for my concealed carry. The trigger is different but you get it down pretty quick. I take advantage of the decocker with the harder initial double action trigger pull. Everyone that shoots it buys one.

I have a 6 CANiKs, they are great. I see the blue one and it looks very much like a METE SFT. But I keep hearing the words SFx. What's up? The SFT is awesome, it's a 4.5 inch barrel in standard form. The SFx, whether the original or in METE form, has a ported slide and its barrel is 5.2 inch. The trigger is like a Walther and it feels superb. I have a Rival Dark Side. It's excellent. Someday I hope to try out the Rival-S stainless ...

Personally i was going to get the tp9sfx originally; but being as it was my first gun purchase ever, and i wanted more of a do it all gun (range, conceal, train) i went with the elite sc. Haven't had any complaints about it at all. The mags are universal among the tp9, so you can actually increase to full size capacity youll just have the mag sticking out a bit; though honestly its about as comfortable as the 15 round mag. Im also considering upgrading the trigger; and briefly considered getting the threaded barrel for a compensator, but figured that might be overkill. All of that is mostly for the asthetic customization though and me just enjoying the gun. Now if only they made a 308 rifle

I think the best overall Canik is the Mete SFT Pro. I'm 6'1" and can AIWB carry it. But I really love all of them. the MC9 with the pinky extension is a great carry gun as well.

The Mete SFX gave me a 25 yard bullseye with my 1st shot... which was then followed up with 3 others within a 3" radius (sans a red dot). I retested several others but came back to the Canik. Now 3 Caniks later, I just snagged the MC9L that just dropped. Amazing firearms, looking forward to their factory opening in Florida!

By far the elite combat for me, i got the executive just because i preferred the black and gold over tan. But the trigger is un beatable and the acuracy (i doubt the salient barrel is a huge difference) is incredibly accurate with irons or my DPP

I have owned one gun and that is Canik TP9 elite combat with over 22k rounds without a major flaw. I have changed the guide rod twice and other springs same barrel and clean and oil it every thousand rounds. and I think it looks as nice as any gun in my opinion.

I have the SFT also. It’s a marvelous gun. I put a fiber optic front side on it, I put the rival trigger in it for 60 bucks and put a Hogue grip on it to fill up my large hands. Fits perfect

I have the TP9 SC with threaded barrel (+1/2") and compensator and it's the perfect size for Conceal Carry with the 12 round magazine. My spare mag is 18 round with mag sleeve. Bang, instant full size. Precut for optics, just "plug and play." I wish, I wish Canik would make a TP9 Sub Compact Double Action so I can carry one in the chamber with no worries. If they can work out the de-cocker so it can take a red dot, even better, as I don't think the TP9 DA can have an optic mounted on it because of the ambidextrous de-cocker button going over the top. Maybe relocate somewhere out of the way as if de-cocking, the threat is over and it doesn't need to be had from a master grip.

Love'em. My first was the TP9 SF Elite, one of the easiest and sweetest shooting guns I've ever owned. Sold it. As good as it was, the gun was just a little too small for my hands so I bought the METE SFT and METE SFX. The SFT is with me 10 hours a day and I won't leave home without it. I fired every type of 9MM I could get my hands on and never had a problem,. Not a single one. I want a CZ P10F but I'm not sure why. I've never fired one but I've held them and IMO, they don't bring anything to the table that I don't already have with my META SFT and SFX. I have very large hands, and the METE is the most comfortable pistol I've ever held. It's hard not to grin when I see Brand X fanboys brag about their $700 gun with $300 worth of upgrades that isn't any more comfortable or reliable than my Caniks. And THANK YOU for not saying "It's a great budget gun."

I personally own the TP9 SF Elite version from Canik. I freaking love the gun and trigger. I'm not a gun expert. I haven't fired every type of gun. Out of all the guns I have owned. I currently own in my small collection. I absolutely love the canik I have. I have personal crazy arguments in my head. About carrying my Sig p320 or my Canik. It's hard to decide on that one.

I've used the TP9SFX, Mete SFT Pro and the MC9. All three are absolutely incredible. The Mete SFT Pro has the best trigger of the three. Unbelievably good trigger. It also comes stock with tritium front night sight, a threaded barrel and Canik's amazing 90 degree flat faced trigger. Add a Taylor Freelance brass backstrap and brass magwell, and add their +4 brass magazine extension. You will be amazed at how much better still these guns get. And if that's not enough, add a FreedomSmith trigger to the TP9SFX for an even shorter trigger take up and shorter trigger reset. Mind-blowing. For those Walther PDP guys, I've shot several hundred rounds through the PDP in a side by side comparison with the TP9SFX and Mete SFT Pro. The trigger on the PDP has more spring in the reset and I found it kind of pushes my finger off the trigger as a result. The PDP is very fast. And so are these Caniks. The difference between them is so small. But I think in the end, I actually prefer the Mete SFT Pro.

i was convinced by some random guy looking at the FFL’s selection and he swiftly approached me to say “thats the best damn trigger in america right now. i own three of them.” he immediately left the store. im still new to firearms ownership but i can say that canik makes it EASY. that segement of you shooting the first two mags is exactly how i felt and performed. i wont be putting a red dot on mine. i want to train with it as barebones as possible to be an effective defensive shooter with the least i can get. the only thing i regret is getting the digital winter version. it looks like a call of duty gun lol

I have the TP9SF Elite and the TP9 Elite SC both with Holosun Optics. My next Canik will be the METE SFT Pro or maybe the SFX Pro. I had a METE SFT and a METE SFX that I sold to a friends and I still regret it. Canik makes great and very accurate firearms.

My favorite is my mete SFT for home defense and fun. I love the mete SF as well for those times I can carry a bigger gun. And the MC9 shoots incredibly for a small carry gun. You missed that the big 18rd mags will run in every gun though!

I picked up a TP9SFX with a red dot from factory. Great gun, there is a break in period with them, especially if using 115gr ammo a few malfunctions in the first 100 rds or so. Once you get past that it runs like a dream i enjoy a firearm that has more of a takeup when firing striker fired as i feel its safer for EDC. And these guns are super lightweight so great for first time shooters in my opinion out of the box they teach you how to be a better shooter.

I have a TP9 Elite SC in brown with a Taylor Freelance brass backstrap. I found the short grip of the sc to dig into my palm a bit too much with the included options, but the more sculpted Taylor unit resolved that as well as making it less top heavy at the same time. I have also just 3 days ago purchased a TP9 SF in the 1000 unit limited production Bronze Eagle "creation" series, which will be for display only. The sc with the Taylor backstrap and the pinkie extension on the 12 round mag works as well for me as a EDC, CC as my go to Springfield XDS .45 mod 2 with 5 or 6 round mags. Albeit, the canik is quite a bit wider than the XDS but that's to be expected as a double stack.

I have the TP9 SF Elite and I Love it..! Great gun with a Great trigger. I wish I could put a red dot on it but it performs great without it. I put Truglo TRX pro sights on it and it made a great improvement

got a DA and an SF and the DA will straight up make your arm soooo tired from the long pull even on single action, the break is typical canik but man its a LOOOOONG travel. I EDC the SF and let my wife carry the DA as she feels its more safe to carry with the striker depressed and the burnt bronze looks sexy.

I have 5 for a reason!!!! Need to make more $$$ to get the new TTI !!!!! Best bang for your hard earned money and the triggers right out the box are next level. Also a freakin' AWESOME feature mags are interchangeable. I've had friends shoot them and 2 of them ended up buying Canik's shortly afterwards. Great pricepoint, durable, and not to mention all the goodies they come with. I have 18 "toys" already but someday the new TTI will be added to the collection! AWOOOO!!!!
