I'd LOVE to get an acid-wave perm (one that's safe for bleached and high-lift colour-treated hair), but I wouldn't know where to go and/or whom to see, here in the greater metropolitan New York City area! I love your bracelets, Abby--beautiful! Lovely, soft results. Me, I prefer a tighter curl, but very nice. Wow, I've always been told NEVER to brush hair once it has been permed.

That's a rat-tail comb. A "pin-tail" comb may also be used in lieu of a rat-tail one.
