My late dad recounted how when he was in a troop transport headed for this meat grinder, he noted that there were numerous trucks and jeeps driving away from it, loaded with men in stretchers. That did not bode well. While in a foxhole with a buddy during a frequent heavy shelling, a shell exploded in the air nearby. My dad’s buddy moaned and then went silent. When my dad turned to look, he saw his bud mutilated pretty badly by shrapnel. My dad was spared injury. He hated fireworks exhibits for the rest of his life.

i was obsessed with ww2 in middle school. my step dad is a marine and id crawl around the yard pretending to be on a sabatoge mission with him sitting outside in his chair.. as soon as he whipped his head around and saw me it would be game over haha. i must have watched band of brothers a dozen times. never heard of these movies, but im excited as heck to get to watch a new ww2 flick! Thank you for the upload guys.

They used a bi planes in from the time of WW1 to fly the woman to London ....instead of using the Lysander planes which were used in WW2..and were built for short runways .most biplanes were obselete in the 1930s ...although some were used for training purposes ....maybe thdy didnt have enough $$$ in the movie budget ...to use a 1940s .plane

I thought this would be an Ardennes battle like, you know, the Bulge. Second rate CGI but it was OK. Plot a little iffy but if you forego reality for a bit it's OK. Guess I'll watch the Dunkirk one next.

Dunkirk - A warehouse, lumber yard, cornfield, and town that was untouched by war. Towards the end, the Germans are killed by fighter aircraft, but the girl is picked up by an unarmed Bi-plane. I don't remember the last time I saw a movie this lame.
