Been a while, pal. I always have high spots for Famous Studios' including the Noveltoons series (which randomly blown my channel up somehow). Some say their shorts are dull, but they are underrated as heck.

In the same boat! Of course while the 50s was a negative turning point in general, let's just say there's a reason my channel started as a depository for Baby Huey and Herman & Katnip cartoons years back.

Yup, that's who it is essentially. And yes, it was submitted to the Oscars for screening, but Famous Studios/Paramount stupidly prioritized promoting their ill-fated revived Screen Songs more (in the same Oscar year won by yet another Tom and Jerry short no less). The Oscars, flawed as they are/were, were squeamish towards the Famous Studios shorts as is (hence 0 nominations, below Screen Gems and Terrytoons), management decisions definitely did not help their preconceptions.
