Jethro and Jethrene were both played by Max Baer. Jethrene's voice was dubbed by Linda Henning, daughter of producer Paul Henning. Not long after this,Petticoat Junction premiered staring (pearl) as Kate Bradley, owner of The Shady Rest Hotel in Hooterville. Linda played the youngest of three daughters of Kate Bradley.
