Snake Eyes essentially was the "only" Joe that G.I. Joe needed as he's the instrumental embodiment of death to all of Cobra and just anyone who needs to be taken out. I do love Storm Shadow as well, but hey, it's Snake Eyes and that's all the more there is to it!

@Grouchy Dude Yea, from my understanding, if you look on the bottom of the box there is a number stamped on. If you have what I have which is 00962 or anything starting 00, congratulations you got a dud. My 2nd one starts 01401 and torso is perfect and knife fits.

I got blessed with my snake eyes just got other day. No weak joints, at least not yet (knock on wood) and my knife fits all the way in the sheath. So the toy issues people have either have been fixed on the restocks of em or I just got lucky. So glad cause I am a huge Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow fan just like so many other people are. As I stopped collection figures and toys after my own children grew up I still always bought what ever figure saw at a store when I went in that was Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow. This Snake Eyes is like my dream I wanted bk in the 80s when I first started collection em and was huge in collections Joes, transformers and Star Wars figures. Just shame my toy collections, comics and other collections had my mother either threw out all or gave away most to hotline or shelters most likely what she would do with em. Funny thing she saved my huge baseball card collection cause they were worth so much money when my real father had some but his mom threw out his cards to when he went to Vietnam so my mom def didn’t want to throw them out like happened to him when those 1960 baseball cards value went they the roof.. well guess what. My 90% of my baseball collection prob cost same now as day first got em. Everyone was collecting them back then so they haven’t gone up in price like they did in 60s. But our toys and comics like I Told my mom a lot of em have increased in value and those are used. Even toys Not even mint condition like most my baseball cards are worth a lot more...lol Just so happy my Snake Eyes doesn’t have the issues so many had with first stock of em so hopefully QA has fixed the issues. Only 1 thing I hate and mean hate about this set up but has nothing to do with the figure itself. The guns. Hate, hate, hate the guns they are using for this line up on classified. Nerd guns and fake looking guns. Ridiculous. Aware the Joe cartoon did go little crazy at times with their regulations on real guns and killing etc so they shot laser type shots instead of bullets and didn’t sound like guns firing not to mention their crazy rebranding of Cobra La and that to me whacky stuff they started to do., But the regular 3.75 figures never had issues making realistic looking Toy guns which I loved and prob got me into the collection of em when younger. Now they got these ugly fake nerd looking guns. Hate it. Know snake eyes has a exclusive version with different accessories with actual real looking guns and different paint job on him at some spots. But that’s not worth spending over $100 compared to just $20 that I got my Snake Eyes for. But I’m going to find some 1/12 action go figure Guns to use with my soon to be collection of Joe classified collection... Me being a ex military person my self and those original Joes with real looking guns and all prob helped me steer toward military later in life. Had so many G.I. Joes my friends joked I would be in the military and with my athletic style not focusing my best on school at the time unfortunately. So had no scholarships and parents wouldn’t help me get grants so went military at 17 to get me out of area was in and not be arrested or worse killed like a lot of my friends were either doing. So G.I.Joes kinda inspired my life by joining the military and getting out of the area was in and made a much better life for myself and family then would had if stayed where was living. Go Joe. The more you know..lol

I had the knife issue, i ended up cutting it in half halfway up from the bottom and dug out some of the plastic, it fits now after glueing the edges around.

Even with the figure being mostly black, it’s good they broke it up with a combo of matte, textures and gloss. The light catches on that and it makes up those mid tones. Despite the flaw, it’s good to see Hasbro giving one of their OG properties the Marvel Legends treatment. I think they will continue and improve on future figures.

I just recently bought this figure and it to is extremely loose in the torso, and one his knee joints are locked up and won’t bend at all. I really like the aesthetic of this figure.

Mine doesn’t have the floppy waist ball joint. But my knife doesn’t fit either. I fixed that by heating a small metal clay tool and jamming it in until it cut through the excess plastic in the sheath without puncturing it. Maybe using an eye dropper to get some floor polish in that ball joint would help anyone with the waist issue.

No flops on mine. Swapped out his knife with one of Scarlett's and that fit nicely. Already had an extra 1/12 Uzi and 1911 to replace those heinous holed firearms. Hasbro should start putting out weapons/accessory packs by next year to fill in some gaps. Definitely more hands.

FYI, the ab crunch is pretty loose on mine. The hip ball peg is loose but better than the ab crunch and much better than the ball peg in your video. Thanks for the heads up. I knew there was a chance it would be like this but I didn’t want to pass it up. The hips were at a weird angle in the package, if that helps anybody.

The ab joints on mine are fine, I just have the same knife problem. I found that Wal-Mart sells a set of super cheap toys called Kids Connection giant oversized helicopter. The toys are super cheap but the figures are oddly sized and the guns which are pretty well done come on spruze and you get a good amount of accessories that are 1/12 scaled. I swapped out all Snakeeyes lazer guns for realistic ones.

Just started watching but i am going to guess its the knife in sheath issue, which i think is almost universal! So annoyed! Edit: finished the vid and mine is not that floppy. Only slightly floppy at the ab crunch, not at the ball joint. Have you figured out how best to fix the knife sheath prob?

The holes are there for you to be able to put the sword’s sheath peg through it. That way you’re able to store all the weapons at the same time

The big ass gun has a male peg that can go into the backpack. And then, you can insert the male peg of the sword into the hole of the big ass gun. This way, you can store BOTH the big ass gun AND the sword on the right side of the backpack. In the real world, it won't work, but as a toy, it is an excellent innovation. I always like my figures to be able to holster all of their accessories on their bodies and carry all of them without needing to hold any of them on the hands. In this respect, this Snake Eyes toy is excellent. The big ass hole in the small gun can probably work on roughly the same principle (not exactly, because it does not have a male peg like the big ass gun does), but because it already has a holster, its hole isn't really needed. Or maybe I just haven't found its use yet.

I do think this line as a whole has EXTREMELY inconsistent quality control. My articulation is fine but I have the knife issue too where it doesn't fit in the holster. Also I think some people didn't get the little red dash over his visor (honestly idk why it's there I would've preferred it without that). So depending on your luck with the QC you're either getting an incredible figure or a beautiful looking turd 😂

Guns have holes for a practical reason. You can plug the submachine on the pistol to hold both the thigh holster. Or Plug the submachine on the backpack and the sword in the Submachine. This way all accessories could be stored in the figure. Give or take :p

That’s weird, the articulation and joints are SOLID on mine. I also took the back pack off and angled the sheath to the left to the peg hole on the figure itself, while the smg I put on the peg hole of the strap. It’s not perfect but I much prefer it. I think many of these figures have QC issues that vary. I recently got a cobra trooper and right out of the box I noticed he is missing the second pistol holster he is suppose to have on the back of his waist. There’s just a big gapping blocky hole with what looks to be a bit of glue residue.

I picked this figure up this morning and was blown away by the awesomeness of it. I opened it as I watched your review. Everything is good on mine except however, the floppy torso. One of the knees was locked up, but with some very slow maneuvering, I managed to get it to bend.

Anytime i have that loose joint or floppy issue ive found that just a dab of rubber cement in the joint usually stiffens it up but not to point that it ceases up. Do you have any suggestions or a preferred method ?

I have the same knife/sheath issue as you, but it's my ab crunch that's super floppy versus the waist joint. As my first 6" style figure, I'm super impressed by the sculpt and presence, but it's a bit too loose overall for my liking.

For those who prefer the sliver visor but do not want to pay the like $100+ price to gee the deluxe edition on secondary market (i mean if you want the weapons and what not, that's fine but if you specifically would like the silver visor look) the citadel paint known as lead belcher is a metallic silver paint used for warhammer figures. i tried, on a whim to see what it would look like and after a single application and it looks SUPER close to the look of the deluxe version.

Overall, I like this more than the Exclusive version, even though my regular version's torso is floppy as well. Thankfully, the knife sheath doesn't have the error. I wish they used ash or dark grey instead of the brown/donatello green they used in the Exclusive and gloss black instead of silver in the visor. I do have it, but the regular version will be the one displayed with the rest of the Joes. The stupid weapons don't bother me as much as I'll either give it the Uzi of the Exclusive, or I'll be giving it a HK MP7A1 from the Valaverse Weapons Pack.

Mine is not as floppy. I had to push the legs back into the hips. The backpack does not peg into the back as good as the sheath does. My knife fits perfectly.

I believe the holes on the guns are for connection. Everything has a place to go except for the machine gun.. I assume that the peg on the gun can be used to attach to the pistol when it’s in the holster? Or if you want it on the backpack, you’d attach it first then you can also attach the sword as well? Just something I put together messing with the figure. It doesn’t look too well attached to the backpack than when it’s attached to the pistol In holster, it looks pretty badas. Awesome figure

Good thing I have a lot of Tomtech Little Armory accessories to give him proper guns. I can not think of a good reason for there to be holes in his guns unless the were going to put a clear red part in it like it was an energy chamber. Question about the floppy joints. Could a lower grade thread locker work to drip in to the joint tightening it just enough that it will hold a pose but still been moved?

I also have a loose Torso, some loose legs, and the knife didn’t fit, until I use and exacto to make space. I feel like it’s not a universal problem, but definitely something that is more common then not. Great review! Love your videos!

I have two opened, they both have some floppy parts, and neither can fit the knife in their holsters. Real shame compared to the great QC on the special edition, but still worth buying for $20 if you're into the deco and articulation. Still keeps great poses well, better than most of my figures of the same price range. Duke's joints are fantastic, it really sucks that Snake Eyes isn't as well-made.

Thanks for the great review, Anthony Customs. I've got my regular Snake Eyes today, so far the figure itself is very tight on both legs and arms. the torso is a little wobbly but not an issue for me. Im just annoyed about the butt part because the design itself is causing hindrance for the legs to move backwards. I have knife holster issue it will not fit. The SMG peg can fit to the handgun hole and you can holster them together (Thats how i see the purpose of that hole). Thank you for your smart review and have a blessed weekend, bro.

I'm late to the party, but just got my Snake Eyes down here in Australia & wanted to confirm - YES - the abdomen ball joint AND ab swivel are also as loose on my copy as a date after 5 vodkas ! I thought it might have been faulty, then re-viewed your video to see I'm not alone. The rest of the figure seems fine, though the elbow joints do have a bit more 'play' in them than I'd like. Other than that, once posed and on my shelf, it looks fan-friggin-tastic ! PS - Long time fan of your videos Anthony, you know what you're talking about, a good straight shooter mate !

Good review. My figure is a little loose, but I don't have the floppy waist. The hole in the weapons is supposed to allow them to be pegged to the scabbard then plugged into the back pack. Why? I don't know. In order to get good weapons you had to buy the deluxe version. My knife doesn't fit all the way in the sheath... a common problem im hearing. Overall, a good buy at $20. 😑

Yeah mine does the same thing with the knife. It’s stupid cause the knife is small enough to fit all the way in. Why the made it like that is weird. Also the sub machine guns has the hole so you can put it on the backpack and the sword scabbard or “sheath” pins it down. Also the sub machine gun has a peg you can put it through the pistol when it’s in the holster so you have both on his hip.

@@AnthonysCustoms Sure, but I believe with the "likelihood of confusion" rabbit hole, if you wanted to make a line of Anthony's Legends articulated figures, they could tie you up in court long enough to make it not worth the fight. I'm not saying it's right, but it's the system. Also I'm sure naming exclusivity is in the contract with Hasbro to avoid that very idea.

On mines the waist is a bit loose but not as floppy as yours. The knife also fits all the way down.

Just found this in store today. Waist on mine is also super floppy unfortunately 😭. Hips are super tight though so that's good at least

The waist on mine is fine. Hips were slightly loose but that's normal for figures and easily fixable. Ouch on your waist though, man.

I used the holster for the larger gun, then used its hole for pegging the smaller gun in it. So he can carry both weapons now. Hope it helps. And my knife is as broken too. I just hate it that the head doesn't a ball joint. Great video!

I got two the knife holster is bad in mine both, one of them was loose on the waist but the other was fine I think by far the exclusive is better; weapons wise, package and articulation.
