Touma really only has himself to blame for how things turned out in the end. In fact here’s just what I personally think happened to him after the end credits. Fate of Touma: After being fired from his dad’s company and being virtually shunned out the industry…Touma tried implying for jobs in various other industries…but each time was either immediately sacked due to his poor work ethic and attitude or was outright rejected due not meeting certain qualifications until ultimately becoming a full on shut in living with his parents until ultimately they get sick of him and kick him out leaving him no choice but to become homeless.

This's really a nice story...and a true example of "redemption" (I'm talking about the girl, not about the imbecile and rotten son of ****c that humiliated the own father in front of everyone and made fire the same girl because of personal reasons...) regarding the MC's future wife. Anyway, thinking about it, if that that wouldn't have happened, the girl would have kept to have the same rotten attitude of when she was still in college...so, oddly , what just happened SAVED her from getting rotten... Still, I'm glad both MC and the girl were able to move on [and the the same MC was able to forgive her imbecile attitude (I can't really call it rivalry, but more like she wanted to prove to be just better in the end...and the same MC later proved her wrong...)]...and probably they'll get married in future.

There's no point in the CEO being "good" only in the end and saying all those things against his son. He's the one who let him act freely for years, without real control... And since he talks about a "transfer that didn't bear fruit", it means that the son had already messed up and it was known. So how could he not have noticed that his son was using his "power" to put the girl through hell, leading her to resign? He should also make amends for all the damage caused by his son, tracking down all the people he caused problems for, apologizing and offering at least compensation. But he doesn't do it. And I fear that the CEO only intervened to avoid problems for him or his company, since his son had done the show in a room full of people who were probably their customers, suppliers or competitors. It is therefore better to publicly sacrifice that son instead of having to deal with the company's loss of credibility.
