Thank you. This was really helpful! It's also encouraging to see that I am not the only one who struggles in this area but it is something that nearly every teacher struggles with or would like to improve on.

Loved this video! I was rapt, fully engrossed in your story of how you handled the chaotic class. Sharing personal stories is such a great way to teach about something.

I find that real world situations are better opportunities for learning than out of a text. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching.

I love these classroom management videos! Would you consider doing a classroom management video in the virtual classroom? For example, we do most of the day asynchronous but 1.5 hours is dedicated to a synchronous googlemeeting and 30 minutes later for small group. In a few weeks we will move to a hybrid classroom, where 9 of 17 students will be in the classroom all day while others will continue to follow this schedule.

Doing bellwork w/ first graders is effective or are they too young for that?
@KathleenJasperEdD Жыл бұрын
Bellwork can be effective for first graders if it is thoughtfully designed, engaging, and tailored to their developmental level. Short, interactive, and age-appropriate activities can help them start the day on a positive note and prepare them for learning. However, it's important to monitor the students' reactions and adjust the activities as needed to maximize their effectiveness. ~Yiana Team Member at Kathleen Jasper LLC
