Ryuen and horikita ending up as Arisu, and ichinose's victims after being hyped for their potential was hilarious. Those two can't do anything without their master saving them evrytime, especially ryuen lol Bro got his ass save from expulsion again by ayanokoji for the third time. Unironically, now i think ryuen might be the end girl

Ehhh I’m happy Homani got a win but at the same time she was made for this Exam for me to have considered it to have been a full massacre of Horikita if would have had to have been in a exam where Horikita either shines and still loses or one where Honami was at a disadvantage

I don't even know why ayanokoji thinks ryuen is better than arisu , dude took so many L's, He lost to arisu, he got beaten up by hosen if it weren't for his pawns, and more. Sakayanagi is a better and fleshed out character that actually has a purpose, sakayanagi wants to get close to ayanokoji and defeat him at the same time, because she thinks she's the only match for her. She's not called the queen for a reason. And she's at least in the top 5 overall smartest students, if arisu drop out how are they gonna defeat ayanokoji. Sakayanagi On Top. And ayanokoji baby ryuen

Off the jump the conclusion was horrible. Arisu just giving up because Ayanokoji requested it was ass. What happened to her goals, her ambitions, her pride and most importantly her promise to Kamuro. Isn't she her own person? Didn't she want to defeat Ayanokoji? Nothing that happened in this story, warrants Arisu to just give up like that.. The worst is that she probably won't even get expelled, because the author doesn't have the balls to expel an actual substantial character. Some other stuff: I was rooting for Ryuen to win, but not like that. Ichinose and Katsuragi did quite well for themselves, so that was nice. Kazanki was handled horribly, didn't even put up a fight even though they clearly had an advantage.

Yeah, all of the class leaders got the short end of the stick here. Horikita and Kanzaki probably got it worst. The next Kanzaki was literally begging Horikita to give up and hand them the win really sucks any sort of respect i had for him. For him to go behind Ichinoses back and have such little faith in his leader to propose a deal to horikita without her knowing was low-key a bit scummy Horikita's entire development took a massive hit this volume. I admit, horikita is one of my least favorite characters in COTE but she did not deserve what happened to her character. Instead of actually fighting for it and proving herself worthy by fighting Kanzaki and Hamaguchi, she had had the win handed to her. She then goes on the to get no diff by Ichinose 0-7, before having to have Ayanokōji save her again. What really made me mad was when she said she wanted ayanokōji to acknowledge her. Wtf? Wasn't the entire point of her development so that she could be her own person separate from always chasing Manabu? Is she just going to switch from Manabu to Kiyo now? Her foresight and preplanning still suck and shows shes a fodder that can win with plot armor. Her picking Hirata based off of OAA instead of Kushida was really dumb in hindsight. She chose Hirata based off of better academic score over Kushida, despite not knowing anything about what the next exam would be. She should've picked someone with more well rounded skills that's adaptable in more settings. Ayanokōji literally told her in previous volumes that she needs to look at the big picture yet she's still so narrow minded Sakaynagi forfeiting the win for Kiyo was stupid, and doesn't make sense according to her development. The fact that all 4 leaders are fighting for/because of kiyo sticks and instead of having their own motives, everything has to revolve around kiyo

I thought that the special exam for this volume was - in my context - hilarious. Just, before I read the volume, I had gotten addicted to this KZbin channel call How to Beat whose main premise is breaking down horror movies and how to beat them, and I had just watched their Werewolf Game trilogy. So when I saw that the special exam was pretty much a rendition of that classic game, it was funny that I thought "huh, what were the chances?" at the coincidence.

Can u please make some type-moon content it’s the strongest franchise in anime with their base abilities giving them immeasurable speed. & my power scaling playlist has all the proof we need, my essay playlist also proves its has the best written characters in anime especially in the girl aspect.(which some shonen struggle cough* Naruto) Like generic anime channel’s shirou vid, it’s billion$ budget & ufotable come together to give us peak animation of any year they drop or period. Everybody is hating on this volume. this feels to me like a perfect ending of act 2, Where everybody has clear picture of what they need to do and work on. Sakayanagi working on her social skill and gaining Hashimono as an ally again. Ryuen's pride is just getting crush every time and for that kind of person is a perfect motivation. Horikita realizing she's still not good enough. and Ichinose hopefully getting over ayanakoji and start actually start fighting. Well, time will tell if this is actually a good volume or not.

With this conclusion - I agree Ryuen and Arisu call off their bet, meaning if Ayano switches the class - it only makes sense he will join class D. In light of that - in the long term I think he did Ichinose a favour, coming clean - showing his hand. Yes, it helped him easily win the exam, but also freed Ichinose from the delusion she was living in. She wouldn’t be able to really grow while relying on the fake image of Ayano she had in her head. So… after this rough reality check - I wonder if Honami is still attracted to him. Would be hilarious if Ayano (after moving to class D) - ended up fking Hoshinomiya :>
