i think its best because if you are planning with clat 2026, that means you will have clat exam on DEC 2025 so you will 8 months to prepare for clat! (You can call it a dropper batch)

Not the best decision, you should try preparing for clat 2025, if you're gonna give boards and then do the preparation, let me tell you, you will look at your friends getting into their first year of college and you will feel left out, it's a very demotivating feeling, it's always better to give clat while you're in 12th grade, so you will get in first year just after boards and you won't have to waste almost one year for the exam. Boards are easy, and your school will prepare you for boards but for Clat, you have to prepare yourself, so focus on that.
