Solomon's was the best, the build up and then the way Claude suddenly says "and frankly, It's a bloody disgrace, it's a bloody disgrace" - what a classic. What makes it even better is the way he avoided eye contact initially and then after some time (and the bad news) he looked him dead centre in the eyes when telling him it's a bad job - classic. All of these interviews are fantastic but that one in particular stands out.

@@swegatron2859precisely. People treating reality tv like it’s reality always annoys me a bit. If the show was a load of clever calm business people doing competently the numbers would go down as most people wouldn’t actually want to watch it. I think they made a mistake having Claude with one of the teams all the way through. Part of Claude's impact and mystique was that he appeared in Week 11, tore everyone to shreds, then disappeared never to be seen or heard from again. He's just lost his magic being there all the time from Week 1. Plus he still does the interviews at the end when he now knows all the candidates, so that may introduce bias and sympathy and base his decision making on stuff he otherwise wouldn't have known about.

He doesn't like or take any bullshit.....What I find amazing is that these geniuses go in bullshitting and Claude exposes them....You would think they'd never seen the program before? I honestly don't think he's arrogant (I agree, he should have shook hands...even with the fools).....Lesson: Don't bullshit and you and Claude will be mates!

Andy Bliss that was year 2 figures? But the accounts for that period wouldn’t have been published at the time as the apprentice for that year only aired between March-June 2009, and is filmed quite a bit before then, and her year end I believe falls in that timeframe, can’t remember exactly when it is! It was first year they were talking about, revenue was quite a bit less then. Edit: Just had a look now, her second year accounts were not published until November 2009, after she won the Apprentice, so Claude couldn’t have got a hold of it, as it wasn’t a public document at the time. beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06246042/filing-history

He's like the Ego Police. But something I've learnt from my family is when it comes to anything important in life, be it interviews etc, don't boast or brag just be honest & tell it like it is or was. I also attended some interview workshop zoom meetings last year when I was out of work due to the pandemic & learnt a great deal more about interview skills then had previously. And actually, some interviews aren't as intimidating as you think they might be. Or at least I found anyway.

I tell you what a sad indictment is, British students aren't taught the intricacies of starting and running a business despite the older generation having ample time available to them to do so. They are kept wholly in the dark about financial matters. Fostering financial illiteracy in any system is a massive retardant to producing productive, successful citizens. That being sad, she really should have had her act together.

FPVtrainee is absolutely correct : Upon entering a venture like this, you'd think the candidates must be clued up with essential details, along with the embarrassing part with Yasmina not being aware (or conveniently forgotten in this case) about the Freedom of Information Act. Previous interviewers like Paul Kelmsley, Bordan Tchachuk, Karren Brady and Alan Watts et cetera, certainly have been instructed to detect any details that don't add up - 👍👍👍👍👍👍!.
