In this world of despair, fear and complete indifference, I can't thank you enough to have put a shed of light in my day and put some excerpts of La Divina Muzio. Some things are beautiful and do matter. I'm also impressed by your technique which allows the voice to got by more clearly than on my Romophone discs.

The divine Muzio deserved the title of La Divina, and to me that was not sufficient enough because when an artist reaches supremacy as Muzio did she becomes a goddess, a high priestess of her art. La Divina set such a high standard for the next generation of sopranos to follow. Mafalda Favero worshipped her and upon meeting Muzio for the first time got down on her knees.

Was it customary for the early singers to abandon high notes? This lady has a lovely voice but you can hear the seeds of her early decline. She does not support her her voice correctly . Pretty voice.
