I love how sweet you are to your younger self!!! It’s so refreshing. Everyone is usually so hard on themselves when they watch old videos but here you are cheering yourself on. Love it 💚
@jaden82084 жыл бұрын
It’s refreshing to see someone react to old performances and feeling confident enough to compliment themself. It gets old seeing people going “omg I was SO BAD” when they were very clearly a solid 9.5/10 😂

I never even thought to compete when I was younger. I was the student no one wanted to promote, except for two teachers, one of whom was an actual professional ballet dancer. I should have just gone out and done it no matter what anyone said. I couldn't get pointe shoes until I was 15 even though I started dancing at 3. I wasn't able to take class full-time due to school and other activities. You have always been exceptional. I loved seeing your old solos.

Omg Claudia I love you. I’m a 14 year old ballerina, and I have always wanted to be a professional ballerina. Your videos have helped me gain confidence. I’m a perfectionist and have always been really hard on myself, but after watching some of your videos it helps me feel better. Watching your videos has also gradually helped me be less hard on myself, and realize every dancer makes mistakes and needs improvement in some part of their dancing.

This is the first time someone has said I’m a dancer and I feel so honored. I am everything BUT a dancer, so I feel loved 😄 Mad respect to everyone who does ballet. I appreciate you all and how hard you work to make it look effortless.

You hit the nail on the head, Claudia, "a lot of potential but need for refinement." I can see why the Royal Ballet School accepted you. As, I have mentioned before in response to one of your videos, you have an admirable quality of putting yourself out there as is. That takes courage and builds tons of respect!

I like watching these like the way I watch football: watching Dad watching football is so much better than watching the game itself, so watching you watch and react is better this just watching your solos!

Hi Claudia you’re an inspiration I’m eleven years old and I would really love a video of u explaining your journey to the royal ballet, as it is my dream to go but i know before I go and audition I will need to get my name out there more. How did you do that and do I need to go full time at my studio before I audition? Also if my studio doesn’t do RAD does that lower my chance of getting into a ballet school when I’m older? I understand you may not be able to answer your question as I am just one person but if you can it would help me out in so many ways! Thanks xx

I actually watched this video because the thumbnail picture is so small I couldn't tell it was a unicorn costume and the silhouette initially made me think of Thai or Cambodian dance. Your solo's were really good. You can tell when someone is a natural performer because they can really sell it even when they are young and minimally experienced.

You are such a beautiful dancer! I do have a question and I did email you too about it.... Hi Claudia, I don't know if you remember me but my name is Leia. I watch your videos everyday even if I watched a video already! They are super helpful. One thing I do need work on is my ballet leaps. I did watch all your leaping tutorials but the problem I have with my leaps is that I can't get them to 180 degrees in the air. Although I do have about a 3 inch over split on each side, my legs don't want to get up to 180 degrees. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you so much Claudia and keep on making videos because they are truly amazing- and so are you! Have a nice day! -Leia
