Good to see someone with taste. Claudio Fragasso is a true example of a director who stuck to his principles and made the movie he wanted to make and didn't become another corporate sell-out. We should all respect this man of vision.

I actually value some of this guys work. He wrote Zombi 3, Hell Of The Living Dead and wrote/directed Zombie 4: After Death and Troll 2. None of these movies are great, most of them are weird, but they sure are entertaining. Not in the way he intended, but hey, still fun to watch. Troll 2 is hilarious, Zombi 3 is a riot, Zombie 4: after death is...Well, that one is just bad. Hell Of The Living Dead is a mix of all of these things. It's such a weird movie for so many reasons, but still entertaining, and i do enjoy it. Fragasso wants to make movies and he does it. Respect!

Even though Troll 2 is a bad movie, I respect this guy for at least doing what he loves and being successful at shooting a decent sized feature film. However he was not successful in making a "good" movie but he did create something that is going to be enjoyed and watched over and over for years to come. There are a lot of bad movies out there that are completely unwatchable on so many levels but Troll 2 is the one that you can actually watch all the way through and enjoy.

You know what? His films may not be the greatest ever made, but watching the films he made (both as director and as a writer with Bruno Mattei) has brought me more happiness and entertainment than anything Hollywood could fart out into theaters just to make a quick buck. I'd pick Claudio Fragasso over Michael Bay any day of the week, at least Claudio cares and tried his hardest to make something good and not just to make a quick buck.

il film è stato creato per varie situazioni.... tra cui il fenomeno obesità, che in america non morirà mai, la censura, che il quel periodo pretendeva meno sangue nei film, e il solito horror che ormai facevano tutti... loro con Troll 2 volevano provocare. Il film è stato capito 15 anni dopo e non a caso ora è stato rivalutato alla grande ed ogni anno fanno i raduni con migliaia di fans che provengono da tutto il mondo. Purtroppo sei uno di quei tanti che di cinema capisce poco o nulla

Very rude question, also because we all had fun watching Troll 2. It´s really unfair to criticize a professional director like that without giving any sort of argument.

I don´t think that this is the case. I mean, after watching the movie you might agree with me that the problem is not the effort. The movie has a plot, professional actors (ok, bad in acting but anyway professional) and is in no way amateur. Well yes, it is indeed immensely silly, which is why we love it, but we also have to take into consideration the amount of problems that b-movies directors had back in the days. Don´t get me wrong, critics are fine, but it is important to contextualize, and is never a good thing to be so rude with a director that produced so many entertaining movies

Doesn't matter this director is an asshole he says he was trying to make a good film and then contradicts himself when he sees the fans and then whenever the actors want to talk about how they felt he talks over them and makes an ass of himself.
