I'm a nurse in Poland and sometimes I don't like my job and what's happening in medical field - but I spread joy and positive energy, I talk to people and I'm kind to them. I thought I'd be a 3D model graphics designer, artist, I'd be drawing things... But look where I am :) I'm happy, I drink my tea, read books, watch videos - I'm finally at peace at 33 y.o. - and my life was really sad and miserable not that long ago. Cheers everyone!

I'm very happy today. I brought my right foot onto my left knee and put my socks on unassisted for the 1st time since April 30th. I had a total knee replacement.
@garythorstenson67835 ай бұрын
I'm retired now and pretty much where I was planniing to be for most of my adult life. The one threat to my happiness is my seeming inability to deal with the fact that I am getting older exponentially. I can no longer do the things that have brought me so much joy, like ski, ride my motorcycle and mountain bike, hike and camp, etc. The idea that all of us go through this and we need to adapt and change has not been very effective. So i continue to do what I can to maintain my lifestyle; (I'm probably having my second knee replaced this fall) and really feel bleesed and am truly appreciative of the life I have. But I'll soon be in my 70's and it's only going to get tougher. Before my first knee replacement, my Dr. asked me: "How long do you expect to ski?" I answered "Until I can't ski anymore!" He said "Congratualtions, yu've made it!" So I changed doctors and got another year of skiing on a new knee. Now the other needs replacing. So I'll get it done and maybe get a few more years on the slopes. The Mouse is in a crossfire, getting smashed, and NONE of his team will come assist him. They could have taken the base cap. But the girl scouts in the back, wanted to hide in the bush and wait for the other team to win the match... "WHY do they even come into WOT?" The sheer idiocy is very disturbing. People get into WOT, to do nothing in the game to win. The Mouse was the best hope they had capping the base. And watched him get taken apart instead of pushing up and attacking the swarm that ganged up on him. Worthless girl scout botz!

The Maus did not focus on the one shot tanks. This is a problem with most players, they only worry about how much damage they get, instead of trying to win. He ignored the easy kills and was shot by those same tanks, over and over. Then when it came time to reset the cap, he chose the target he would never pen in a million years, to secure the loss. We call this type of game play, "Pub Mentality". Sad but true.

Trying to live my life intentionally taking the road less traveled. It gives me a sense of joy and fulfillment. I always relish the opportunity to joke about the hardships in life, especially with my fellow peers. The key to true happiness is applying the phrase: "Who gives a shit" to those events or experiences in life that don't mean anything of consequence in the big picture. Some fulfilling love of another is beneficial also, but for some that is a difficult or somewhat difficult thing to find. That is why dogs are the ticket as opposed to humans. Just a take on Claus's comments on "true happiness". No in-depth Freud today.

This is THE best gaming channel on KZbin. Nowhere else do I feel so much at home as here. All thanks to the real talk. The moments when I were realizing that there is a tank destroyer in the background, driving back and forth were priceless too 🤣 I am a person that has this philosophy: do what you have to, to be able to do what you enjoy. I hate my job but I also love it. I am a software tester and so my job is basically hating on things and finding reasons for why what the others figured out will go to shit. And it couldn't fit my pessimistic nature more 🤣My success there (I'm a manager by now) thaught me to appreciate myself, a thing that I had trouble with earlier. I realized that every person is valuable and there's a role for every one of us. If you love to hate everything, find bad sides to anything, and poke holes in everything anyone says - there's a job where they will pay you for it; to keep in check the overly optimistic development and production people 🤣

Asking the Question, what is the meaning of life and everything in a simplified answer? The answer is 42. 42? That can't be the right answer. Well then, you didn't ask the right question did you? I don't think anyone is really content with thier life. To rationalize everything in a way, is to lie to yourself. There is always something not to be content with. That is part of the human problem. It's just like saying, "I'm living my dream.". If that is so, you really don't having anything to dream for. That one is responcable for ones own happiness is also untrue. To say that, means you exclude every outside force that influences your life. The only thing you are in total control of, are your own decisions. You can be happy with the decisions you have made but, the outcome is not totally decided upon your decision. That's how I feel/think about it.

Hey Claus - The question of the day: Who Am I? For starters, I'm the guy who likes to take potshots at our host when said host's rant cup overfloweth. But hey, that's what he's here for, eh? IRL, I'm in my late 70s and - thank the Force - retired, and I'm thrilled with that fact, unlike some of the hampsters I hear who complain about missing the hampster wheels of their past jobs. Although I actually liked my job(s) - they all revolved around industry sales - from the seller's side - I was always on the inside desk, acting as technical support staff assisting the customers in finding the correct product to solve their stated needs. And that made me feel useful rather than just a salesman pushing stuff on customers. Growing up, there were two significant TV shows for me - SKY KING and SEA HUNT ( haha - most of you will need to google those names to understand). So yes, they set the marker if I had a dream to follow. And as I sit at my keyboard today, I'm delighted to have met both of those waypoints. I have my pilot's and scuba diving licenses, so check and check. Finally, a regret I have, like Claus, involves music. I played a wind instrument from middle school through college, which provided a great deal of enjoyment, but I never learned to play a keyboard. Now, with the wide availability of fantastic electronic keyboards, I would love to be able to sit down and literally play piano with a symphony. Ah well, maybe in the next cycle.
