@@kens32052 Yes, I am an OG DFC. As the years have passed my hand tremors have increased to the point that playing most other tanks is frustrating. Every now and then I play my Wolverine as a sniper/ambush role, but, at times I can't even hold a good aim on long range targets (yes, my mouse sensitivity is dialed down a lot :) ). To keep playing I jump in the SPGs. The videos show two good attributes as well. Well trained crew and a tank with a fast traverse (he loaded up with Coke Cola too). The M44 and M53 have wide angles to shoot without moving the hull, making the retarget time a lot less than others. And, yes, the M44 is my favorite. The other thing these two SPGs share is decent speed. Relocate to get better angles and not get countered by enemy SPGs. BUT!!!! Watching these replays gets really boring. :) Maybe do one SPG replay and then another tank for the second replay of the day.

World of tanks van be frustrating but I its wonderful too. Its a game for people between 10-85 years old and spg is great for older people to keep joining it. Nice to have you in the game mate!

Glad to see that Claus values Arty players. WOT Arty Noobs has been fighting for all Arty players for over 6 years. We teach the best practice. Our Arty players do not suicide - they fight to the bitter end and try to win because many times, they are the last player on their team and even when they are up against more than one opponent, they still want to win for the team. Arty players try to help their teammates. They try to help by stunning your enemy to give you an easy kill. They attack opponents that are trying to kill you and sometimes they even take the hit to allow the tank players to find out where the enemy is hiding. Most tank players soon find out that Arty is a lot more difficult than they might think. Arty players have study tank behavior to work out what the enemy might do. Some of the games you see on our channel and Claus's are by superb players. Game winners with persistently high scores.

When you play arty, you have to be psychic. You have to know where a tank will be many seconds in the future. I was really good at hitting ELCs with my M44 while they were still moving. I studied their travel pattern. Players tend to repeat the same path. I'd do the math in my head and fire. Wait...wait...BOOM!

It's true - you have to be able to work out what the enemy intends to do so you can lay the shell in the right place in advance. There can be as much as a 3 to 4 second travel time for the shell. So you have to work out where the enemy will be in the future.

That is very true. That's why I like to aim ferraris. They are more like drunk drivers - less predictable. But having my SPG have the "propelled" working, cutting distance to like 0.8s flight time makes it suprisingly calculatable. Ah, and also I get a lot of fan mail from light tanks that you take down in movement.

My favorite clicker is the M44. It is in my top 3 most played tanks. But since the HE nerfs and then the direct nerf, it is more difficult to have a great game. It is still satisfying though to one shot a dirty little light tank who is trying to spot and kill you.

My most memorable arty game was in my Object 261. I ended up taking out both of the other teams EBR 105s. So satisfying. EBRs ruin the game more than arty does IMO.

Thank you for featuring arty, Claus. If you do start playing more arty, please watch the short range British Bishop and FV304. When you played them you tried the conventional arty tactics which is the opposite of what they need. If you start to get it, you will enjoy the crap out of them.

I am a DF Clicker. I play primarily TD's a mediums but when the match making goes to shit I play nothing but arty and shit on the OP tanks and players. The comments after games from 279e and T95/FV4201 players is priceless. It's also very gratifying to shoot a light tank and one shot them.

SFOA-Atticus is my clicker name, and I use the Obj.261. I can honestly say that my game has improved since I started to play as an spg. Learning from what other players do. I am nowhere near brilliant but I have had some really good games. My Obj.261 has a 48.5% victory rate, maximum damage has only been 3586 but its getting higher. Being an effective spg, has a lot to do with the team you end up with and the map being played. But patience is the name if the game 😊 thank you for highlighting an spg, I honestly think more needs to be said. Thank you from the three of us who are your followers

I play SPG to complete missions - Damage x tanks in a battle, get X number of critical hits, etc. Makes those missions very easy to complete... but as you correctly point out -- use the keyboard, be f-ing aware of the situation, relocate after shots. I do fire pretty much as fast as I can --- with the M53/55 I'm at ~29s reload -- I get more by blind firing than by waiting. Relocating when reloading -- make use of that time... agree about the rotation mechanism as well -- but Vents is working great for Mr. Clicker... you're sarcastic as always, but your points about quality SPG play and some of the difficulties when playing SPG (dispersion, shell flight times, low pen) show that playing these things correctly is NOT simply a matter of "clicking" -- thank you!

I have a couple of 'clickers' that I play now and then. Sometimes as arty you have to try for a moving target, like when you team is losing and in desperate need of help or flank is getting overrun, it is click and run, sometimes works out if you get a good hit an tanks there take advantage of it.

I love to play Arty so yes, I am a dirty filthy clicker. Fave being the lowly Birch Gun or the Conqueror. But I don't know how Mr Clicker was able to skip from one target to another. I still us the old method of scan and wait for the barrel to catch up.

You hold right button on the mouse to stay on the target, then left click your mouse button on the minimap where you want to switch to directly. Your true aim still stays where you had aimed before, so you can left-click in the minimap back being immediately aimed. In the case you want to chenge the aim too, you just depress the right mouse and you will begin to aim at the new aiming spot. Takes some practice but since you're the clicker, you can still train do it using one hand and 2 fingers :D

There is no rule against "multiple accounts". You cannot have more than one account for each email address. WG knows I have 2 accounts and is fine with it.

It's not about more than 1 account per email, this is irrelevant. It's just technically too annoying too handle. If it would be easy you could even have 20 accounts per one email. WG doesn't give a F how many accounts do you have. What WG does care is so the number of players using one account IS ONE. They don't allow to share accounts. Two reasons why I played SPG, ping and my hate towards TDs. The tanks that hate us most are TDs and strong armor tanks that just sit there farming. The third reason why you should play SPG is cuz they make credits!!! if you don't have a top premium tank then use tier 6 arty and you'll make 10-20K on average games for credits.

Probably he was reversing after the shot. Often happens to me - the game just decides that I have to reverse. There's almost no dispersion bloom, until the evil carriage hits something.

WOT replays have a bug where the reticule drifts around sometimes. It’s a well known but that WOT won’t fix for some reason. The reticule doesn’t drift in real game. Just the replay

I click when the daily mission calls for it. I find that if the target is dead centre and doesn't move, the shot goes to the outer rim, and if the target moves, the shot goes exactly where I aimed. EVERY. F@#KING. TIME! Too frustrating to be a clicker for any length of time.
