It is not optional it is a obligation. = TAHARAH (CLEANSINESS AT ALL TIMES = Abu Malik Al-Ash`ari (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Purity is half of iman (faith). “ Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “Five practices are of the fitrah (natural disposition): circumcision, shaving the pubic region, clipping the nails and cutting the moustaches short.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) Fardh acts of Ghusl There are three Fard (obligatory) acts. 1) Niyyah (Intention) recite Bismillah and make intention "Oh Allah purify me" 2) Wash hands and Gargle water in mouth 1 time is Fardh 3 times is sunnah. 3) Sniffing water upto your soft bone and blowing it out. 1 times Fardh and 3 times is Sunnah. 3) To wash the entire body including hard to reach places in a rigorous manner not to leave a Hair dry. =IMPORTANCE OF EARNING & EATING HALAL = On the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah said: “Allah the Almighty is good and accepts only that which is good. Allah has commanded the Faithful to do that which He commanded the Messengers, and the Almighty has said: “O ye Messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right..” (Quran 23:51). And Allah the Almighty has said: “O ye who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you..” (2:172). Then he mentioned [the case of] a man who, having journeyed far, is disheveled and dusty and who spreads out his hands to the sky [saying]: O Lord! O Lord!-while his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing unlawful, and he is nourished unlawfully, so how can he be answered!” (Muslim). =VIRTUE OF BISMILLAH & ALHUMDOLILLAH & PROTECTION FROM SHAYTAAN= Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "If a person mentions the name of Allah upon entering his house or eating, Satan says, addressing his followers: 'You will find no where to spend the night and no dinner.' But if he enters without indicating the Name of Allah, Satan says (to his followers); 'You have found (a place) to spend the night in, and if he does not mention the Name of Allah at the time of eating, Satan says: 'You have found (a place) to spend the night in as well as food.' " [Muslim] . Umar bin Abu Salamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said to me, "Mention Allah's Name (ie, say Bismillah before starting eating),eat with your right hand, and eat from what is near you." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] 'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When any of you desires to eat, he should mention the Name of Allah in the begining (ie, say Bismillah). If you forget to recite or eat with the left then Recite: " Bismillah wa awal la hu wa akhirahu (I begin with the Name of Allah at the beginning and at the end). [At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud] . = VIRTUE OF SALAH = Indeed, the prayer is prescribed on the believers at fixed times. Surah 4: Verse 103 “O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” (2:153) Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do. (29:45) Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The first action for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded. If they are lacking, then he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, then the Almighty Lord will say: See if my servant has any voluntary prayers that can complete what is insufficient in his obligatory prayers. The rest of his actions will be judged in the same way.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhī 413) Shaqiq bin 'Abdullah reported: The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not consider the abandonment of any action as disbelief except neglecting Salat. [At- Tirmidhi]. = DAWAH AND ISLAH = "You are the Best Nation produced for the Guidance of Mankind. You Enjoin towards Good and forbid what is Bad and you have Firm faith in Allah." (SURAH 51 verse 55) Prophet (pbuh) said : "None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself." (Bukhari & Muslim) I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say, “Whoso- ever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart - and that is the weakest of faith.” [Muslim] =WHAT QURAN SAYS ABOUT INTOXICANTS = O you who believe!; Indeed, Intoxicants (eg Alcohol,Drugs) And Games of Chance (Gambling- Lottery,William Hill and Paddy Power,Poker,Casinos), [sacrificing on] stone alters (eg shirk: idols worshipping) [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows (eg fortune telling,predicting future,Hand Reading) are the filth of shaytaans handiwork,avoid such (abomination) that you maybe successful. Shaytaans plan is to excite enmity and hatred through Intoxicants and gambling and to stop you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer (Salah). will you not then give up? [Surah 5 verse 90-91] = INTOXICANTS & MUSIC = The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah has cursed Khamr (intoxicants - alcohol, wine drugs.), the one who drinks it, the one who pours it for others, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who makes it, the one who it is made for, the one who carries it, the one who it is carried to and the one who consumes the money from its sale.” [Sunan Abu Dawud] Hadhrat Abu Maalik Ash'ari (R.A) says that he heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) say: "Most certainly, there will be in my Ummah people who will make lawful fornication, silk, liquor and musical instruments." (29:45) Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The first action for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded. If they are lacking, then he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, then the Almighty Lord will say: See if my servant has any voluntary prayers that can complete what is insufficient in his obligatory prayers. The rest of his actions will be judged in the same way.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhī 413) Shaqiq bin 'Abdullah reported: The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not consider the abandonment of any action as disbelief except neglecting Salat. [At- Tirmidhi]. = DAWAH AND ISLAH = "You are the Best Nation produced for the Guidance of Mankind. You Enjoin towards Good and forbid what is Bad and you have Firm faith in Allah." (Al Quran - Surah 3 - Ali 'Imran Verse 110). And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. (SURAH 51 verse 55) Prophet (pbuh) said : "None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself." (Bukhari & Muslim) I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say, “Whoso- ever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart - and that is the weakest of faith.” [Muslim] =WHAT QURAN SAYS ABOUT INTOXICANTS = O you who believe!; Indeed, Intoxicants (eg Alcohol,Drugs) And Games of Chance (Gambling- Lottery,William Hill and Paddy Power,Poker,Casinos), [sacrificing on] stone alters (eg shirk: idols worshipping) [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows (eg fortune telling,predicting future,Hand Reading) are the filth of shaytaans handiwork,avoid such (abomination) that you maybe successful. Shaytaans plan is to excite enmity and hatred through Intoxicants and gambling and to stop you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer (Salah). will you not then give up? [Surah 5 verse 90-91] = INTOXICANTS & MUSIC = The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah has cursed Khamr (intoxicants - alcohol, wine drugs.), the one who drinks it, the one who pours it for others, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who makes it, the one who it is made for, the one who carries it, the one who it is carried to and the one who consumes the money from its sale.” [Sunan Abu Dawud] Hadhrat Abu Maalik Ash'ari (R.A) says that he heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) say: "Most certainly, there will be in my Ummah people who will make lawful fornication, silk, liquor and musical instruments." (Bukhaari) "Music makes hypocrisy to grow in the heart like water causes the crops to grow." (Abu Dawud) Hadhrat Abu Maalik Ash'ari (R.A) says that he heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) say: "Most certainly, there will be in my Ummah people who will make lawful fornication, silk, liquor and musical instruments." (Bukhaari) =VIRTUES OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE = Abu Hurairah (R.A) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah makes the way to Jannah easy for him who treads the path in search of knowledge." [Muslim]. Abu Hurairah (R.A) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who calls others to follow the Right Guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account." [Muslim]. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said, "He who does not acquire knowledge with the sole intention of seeking the Pleasure of Allah but for worldly gain, will not smell the fragrance of Jannah on the Day of Resurrection." [Abu Dawud]. = SUNNAH REMEDY FOR GOOD HEALTH= HIJAMA (Wet Cupping) He Muhammad (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) also said that "On the night of Israa (His ascension to the heavens) He (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) did not pass by an angel except that it said to him, "Oh Muhammad, order your Ummah (nation) with cupping (Hijama)." [Tirmidhee - 3479]. "Every Soul Will Taste Death. And you will be paid your reward fully only on the Resurrection day. Then whoever is removed far from the Fire and is made to enter the Garden, he indeed attains the object. And the life of this world is nothing but a comfort of illusions." [Surah Al Imran Verse 185]
