Ive watched like 18 times. How fo you get the big claw to sit in the small claw arn piece?

The claws pivot on a large metal hinge. The kind you might use for a fence gate. It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure I heated the metal hinge to let it melt a perfect fitting slot in the foam. It can slide on and off by a snug fit.
