Great Video! Its so fun when you can get a claw machine for less than $600 with cost of parts (assuming the part was $75 or less). And yeab those knobs get stuck on my claws too if they are too inflated... so anyone watching i can testify that the knobs where to inflated

When I got the mini claws - we both replaced the crane cables with heavy loaded fishing line - never had an issue with the operation of the claw opening or raising up & down. Add a basic multimeter to test your soldering connections & you have it all covered.

@@GalaxyGames843 Very lucky that above the laundromat my friend owns - we have a retired "Sparky" (What we call Electricians) living in 2 of the 3 apartments. Piano wire is good too but very expensive for OUR needs.

Honestly for the lights, I usually just swap in a separate LED light made for under cabinets from Walmart. Wouldn't be much of a video!

Glad you got it working. Weird that the motor was bad on that new of a machine. You may need to grease the worm gear so it doesnt wear out the toothed gear it interacts with.

It was a used machine so it happens from time to time - luckily the gear is metal and not worn at all but I do have a replacement!

Sorry, my English, I'm from Brazil, I have a similar problem, my machine spends a while working normally, then in one move it lowers the claw to the prize and it doesn't go up anymore, the move ends but the claw doesn't return. the cart returns to the starting point but the claw does not go up. you start another turn with the claw down. Could someone please help me, I've already changed everything, motor, switch, cord and the problem continues PORTIGUES - desculpa meu ingles sou do brasil, estou com um problema parecido, minha maquina ela fica um tempo funcionando normalmente, dai em uma jogada ela abaixa a garra ate o premio e nao sobe mais finaliza a jogada mais a garra nao retorna. o carrinho a volta para o ponto inicial mais a garra nao sobe. voce inicia outra jogada com a garra baixada. por favor teria como me alguem me ajudar, ja troquei tudo motor, switch, cordinha e o problema continua

I bought a rainbow crane machine (the carriage looks alot like the ine in this video) and everything works great except when you move to the right it doesnt want to go forward just creeps like a snail but if you go left it will go forward normally. Everything looks good on the belts on the wheels so i really have no idea where to start? Any idea? I appreciate any info at all you may have. Thanks!
