@gunsmokesixtysix7135 Жыл бұрын
All animals in safari parks and conservancies throughout Africa were born and have grown accustomed to vehicles driving around constantly. People getting out of safari vehicles however, they are not accustomed to and then it's "game" on! I should mention that tourists are warned constantly not to make noise or do anything to attract or annoy the animals. Humans are idiots and sometimes they get what they deserve.

In every national park or forest in India-the rangers will never get close up and front even if tourists insist . They do not necessarily keep the tourists quiet though and this is because these are natural and villages near by -its a happy co-exitence-no pretentious acts.-its two fold -respecting the animals in their habitat and also keeping humans safe-end off. This is a lot of animal bullying for social media views be it you tube, tik tok etc etc.

That lion that went into a campsite was in Mabuasehube in Botswana. Tourists have turned those lions into a nuisance because they leave food for the lions so that they can get nice up-close pictures. You are not supposed to feed the animals, because they now harass campsites searching for easy food and this makes it dangerous for other tourists.

None of the animals approached the vehicles, except for maybe one lion but he was passing through and ignored us. Might not be like that everywhere, though.

The open-top vehicle setup in lion safaris can definitely seem risky, especially with the guide seated at the front. However, safari operators typically rely on the fact that lions and other big cats view the vehicle and its occupants as one large, unfamiliar entity rather than as individual prey, so they generally don't attack. Guides are highly trained in animal behavior to avoid provoking interest, but this setup is still not without risk. Following the guide’s instructions and keeping still inside the vehicle helps minimize attention from curious predators.

What kills me about this dumb video is that the narrator keeps telling us that lions mistake cars for some pray to feast on, as if the lions couldn't distinguish between what they always hunt and an object made of tasteless and inedible metal. When a lion sees something as food, he's going to charge full force against the pray with much focus and aggression. He's not going to lightly touch it or curiously inspect it while leisurely walking. These lions are very well fed and taken care of. What makes them behave in certain ways on certain occasions is either curiosity, or being territorial (when they show moments of aggressiveness), sometimes playfulness and other times possibly not wanting the company of these damn cars.

It can only end in tragedy. These animals are becoming angered they cannot live in peace, they will certainly attack because they are being hunted. You might think there's no harm, it's just people fulfilling their dreams. I call it reckless intrusion. The leaders are irresponsible, they are too close. They should be aware of the dangers. But big money and dollar signs are more powerful. When the people start being killed and carnage does occur the animal will be killed and labeled a maneater........We've been here before.
