Back then in 1991, it was my second year in Faculty of Law, North Sumatera University, Indonesia, when this song was released, together with movie "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves" , starred Kevin Costner, in which this was as Original Sound Track. Then as I compared the original version to this Clay Aiken, I realized that while the vibe of singers are different (it's okay... ) in nature, but the way Bryan Adam did the rendition was way better compare to Clay did. Arguably in Bryan's version you would feel obviously the spirit, emotion of the character Robin Hood pledged that "Everything I do, I do it for you" in the context that he was willing to fight, even to die, for the lady he loved (Mirian) who was forcibly taken by Sheriff of Nottingham.. And as usual, Robin succeeded... 90's - what a glorious days..
