He's probably the most generous AND interesting interviewee I've ever enjoyed listening to. His answers are not premeditated they are pure train of thought and I admire the guy even more sharing so openly.

I think Clay would make an excellent judge on American Idol. I wish they would hire him. He's honest and not afraid to criticize, but also warm, witty and funny.

That was the best interview of Clay I've ever heard, and I've listened to LOTS. TWO (3) intelligent people talking about life and experience. Fantastic! Congratulations!!

@@lorimf2009 I agree. He’s been doing the talk show/podcast circuit for the past year saying almost the same thing at every one. This time he talked about some different things than I’ve already heard over and over. I think the interviewer did a great job

Truly one of Clay's best interviews ever. You pulled out so much detail on so many topics, far ranging and in depth discussion. Well done, all three of you!

Felt more like a conversation than an interview. Absolutely loved this!

My grandmother was a big fan. I enjoyed his debut album he released back in 2003 Measure of a Man and I’m glad he has finally returned to put out new music as he was gone for a long time. Dude really has an amazing voice and remembering him on American Idol shows what a great talent he absolutely is

Great interview. Enjoyed the broad range of topics covered, especially how he approaches his recording process. Placing my order for his new album now!!

I still love clay. He is not old, you are alive, and you can still do things. I know all the lyrics of his album. But this was a great talk, he is 💯 percent right. I voted for him.

He sounds better always to me live. His recordings sometimes the way he sings things bugs me for some reason. Every time I’ve seen him live he blows the roof off the place.

Totally me. If you REALLY want to hear Clays best Christmas voice live, listen to his 2005 Xmas show on KZbin.. the end where he sings 4or5 in a row in the church (esp Emmanuel) out of this world!!!

Wasn't he saying Beyonce was in the audience watching the show? The difference being nobody cared and tried to take pics of her like they did when he and Ruben went to a show in 2003...
