Hey peeps! I'm not sure if the "Frozen" craze is over yet, but I wanted to upload this tutorial up anyways. The hair of all of my figurines is probably the hardest yet most fun part to make. Basically, you have to glide the SIDE of your needle tool to form the texture. Please do not "score" or "scratch" it with the point end of your needle tool because that will not work. It leaves a cleaner and sharper indentation if you used the side of your needle tool. Also, after I sculpted BOTH sides of Anna's hair, I decided to bake the head (only the head) for 5 minutes. This is to prevent myself from destroying the texture of the hair. Afterward, I made the body and just "smeared" the braided strands with my needle tool and texture. And before anyone asks, you can "rebake" your piece of clay. This is will NOT cause a fire. I initially under bake my piece of clay for just 5 minutes then I re-baked it for 10 minutes at the same temperature. Please follow the packet's instruction for the temperature. Every materials here are bought at Michaels.
