Oh then what? Well, I ain't saying that looking's a crime Well, I've done my share from time to time It don't mean that you gotta take that leap When you're standin' on the brink Before you jump you gotta step back and think There's price for every promise you don't keep Then what, what you gonna do When the new wears off and the old shines through And it ain't really love and it ain't really lust You ain't anybody, any body's gonna trust? Then what, where you gonna turn When you can't turn back for the bridges you burn And fate can't wait to kick you in the butt, then what? Oh, then what? Do what you want, do what you wish It's your life but remember this There's bound to be some consequences Sneaking under other fences Then what, what you gonna do When the new wears off and the old shines through And it ain't really love and it ain't really lust You ain't anybody any body's gonna trust Then what, where you gonna turn When you can't turn back for the bridges you burn And fate can't wait to kick you in the butt, then what? ❤️Wonderful song Mr Walker like always from you and it did really make you think.. We all think sometimes in our lives that the grass is greener on the other side.. some of us go there and finds out that it wasn’t and you might’ve done a lots of mistakes before you left for the green grass on the other side and when you find out that it’s not you look back and remember all the things you have done..all the mistakes so you think that you can’t go back.. it’s a horrible feeling to feel but then we forgetting that we are only humans and we do mistakes.. If we could understand that in that horrible moment we are in and thinking that we can’t go back we have nothing.. The beauty is then if we can remember that we are only a human and that we can go back if we take all we got inside us and we go back from were we left.. then we we will find that those we left and even have hurt will see our effort to make up for what we did and forgive and embrace us with love and kindness.. No the grass is not greener on the other side but if you still go there you can always go back you only have to find the power in you to do so.. it’s not easy but it’s worth it and ask for help if you aren’t strong enough to do it by yourself.. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful loving song l loved it and your always so wonderful voice... l just talked and talked.. but only what l think of it all.. l can’t though at the moment remember anything about if have done that and that but it’s fine if l would think of something l hope l will remember what I said here to you😉.. l wish you a wonderful blessed loving day and thank you for a beautiful thinking song with a nice beat.. Hugs to you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

From the album "Rumor Has It" (1997). The song was released on January 13, 1998, as the album's fourth and final single. The music video was directed by Martin Kahan, and produced by Vienetta Mayhew. It features Walker performing against an aquarium backdrop with a huge shark behind it, and a boat marina on a pier to the customers. Scenes feature Walker inside a huge crocodile prop, a couple going to a fish head, people painting green balls, and a reggae band playing on a beach. It premiered on CMT on January 17, 1998, when CMT named it a "Hot Shot". The video was nominated at the 1998 Billboard Music Awards.

I think this song means . My friend has a great life with a loving wife and two beautiful children , but he always seems unsatisfied . I told him to think carefully before making any decisions , as the grass is not always greener on the other side . What will you do when the initial excitement fades and reality sets in? If its not real love or lust , no one will trust you . Where will you go when you can't undo the damage you've done and fate catches up with you? I'm not saying its wrong to look , but think about the consequences before taking any action . There's always a price to pay for broken promises . What will happen when the thrill wears off and the truth is revealed? Don't make decisions you'll regret later . Remember , there are always consequences to face in the end . Then What

She got up and went to the restroom and I asked him how he stayed happily married for so long. He said to cheat as much as possible and never let her find out. Wow what a terrible answer.
