In 2000, Dr. Lea was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr., Board of Preachers at Morehouse College. In August of 2004 Dr. Lea was selected to attend The University of Oxford in England as a participant in the first Oxford Round Table discussion on Religion, Education and Government. His preaching and teaching gifts have afforded him the opportunity to minister in West Africa, Germany, the Bahamas, and Bermuda and throughout the United States. His leadership is blessing the body of Christ outside of Mount Calvary as he is a past Moderator of the Progressive District Association of the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area, current President of the California State Baptist Convention (youngest in the convention's history), serves as the Assistant Vice President of the West Division of the National Baptist Convention, Adjunct Professor of Homiletics at the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA and a leader of significant Boards of Directors. He is a contributing author to the best selling book, Sound the Trumpet Again, and is the author of Lessons From A Dying Savior. He is also, founder and CEO of CLJ Ministries, Inc.
