Even though this game took a lot from Killer Instinct 2, it was silly and fun in its own way. It had personality, something that most N64 fighters lacked. I miss old Icky's laugh from the SNES version though.

Ickybod was the hardest to master, but his combos were BY FAR the best. You could juggle your opponent around and beat the shit out of them. I always dreaded playing against Ickybod in single player for that reason.

Man, i remember when my english wasn't as advanced as a kid; i didn't understand more than half of what they said. Some of their comments are still hard to understand though, because of the sound quality and the speed, like for example when Ickybod does that ground dive/phasing thing. Had to actually slow the video down to understand it. Apparently he says "now you see me, now you don't" really fast.

Why did these games have to have such terrible resolution? If it had detailed photography it would of been cooler to watch and play.

Because that was the average resolution for games in that time. Very few games could reach 640x480 back in the day, and most of them in N64 required the expansion pack.
