It’s remarkable how your ideas come to you - you always give credit to other artists who inspire your own - I really admire that in you. This piece is so cool! I saw the bubbles and banding. I’m glad for the tip on what to do about the loose mica. What a difference that made. Be well and thank you so much for offering your ingenious tutorials. ❤️ (I’m still catching up! This is very late -oops!).

Super cool idea, Kathryn. I like the the look before you had to roll it out more, with the smaller cells. Lots of options with this. New ink on the other arm, or do we just not generally see that high up?
@KathrynHalstead2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Wendy…. I’m doing another video with smaller canes as I agree …. Just a play but has given me more ideas 💡 and no that one on my other arm has been there for yrs. must have just popped on to say hello 🤣

Hi, how long did you cook that size pendant? I’m making a bunch of them and rolling it out with the backing to 4.5 mms. I’m so pleased with how it came out. I adore your pendants. Also, I’m thinking cook for 45 mins. Then adding the bail and putting back in for another 15 mins. On 265 degrees per Cernit instructions. You are my Chief Mentoring Officer! Thank you for being you, ☮️♥️😀

Hi Nancy .. I did about the same as you thickness wise, and yes your timings sound the same as mine, i generally do it the other way around though, bake pendant for 15 mins, add the bail then bake for 30-40 mins x

Preciosa pieza!!! Mu pregunto ¿qué habrá entre usted y los colores negros y grises para crear piezas tan bellísima???!!!:):)

Gracias ... sabes que prefiero los colores oscuros ... pero creo que también funcionaría en muchos colores diferentes

Hi there, have you ever done this with other colors? Metallic Copper and white Pearl? What do you think?

No not yet! But have a try x

What thickness did you use on your pasta machine?
@KathrynHalstead2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nancy, i did about a zero for both, but the backing would be a touch thinner with the texture sheet so about 4.5 mm in total x
