Mini Mushroom Fairy Castle with Toilet Paper Roll Tube, Paper, and Clay Paste DIY

Anyone need a castle for fairy village? You can make one with your own hand now. Here, I am sharing my idea and steps to make one of a kind mushroom fairy castle, a mini version of course with simple structure that you can duplicate - make many of them in a day :)
Don't worry about dimension or being precise. Just cut and glue some of toilet paper roll tube or tissue paper tube and tadaa....you build a cute castle. What's the story behind this craft? Ehm...my design idea was based on my imagination that some blue whimsical mushrooms growing on a castle ruin.
To finish my mini building, I use clay paste or texture paste made of 3 parts plaster of Paris : 1 part flour with enough water and few drops of baby oil. This is optional.
If you want to paint it straight away, you can do it too. Of course you need to smooth the mushrooms shape. You can add pieces of paper and glue (paper mache).
Alternatively, you can use air dry clay (any type/ brand you are familiar with) to cover the mushroom and make the brick texture. If you are new in clay craft, you can check out my website to see what clay to buy, link: www.clay-it-no...
Finally decorate/ paint the castle to any color palette you like to suit your village theme. Or, you can follow my color selection.
