Not sure if you remember this, but back in the mid 90’s you and your team were in Dallas for a race at Texas Motorplex. You and your crew came into an indoor go kart track that I was running. We were dead that night so being a big fan of yours I shut the place down and let yall have free run of the track for about 2 hours or so. Afterwords you invited me out to your pits for the weekend. I had the best time I have ever had at a race!! You and your team were awesome!! Truly my most memorable moment!! Good luck 🍀👍🏻

For a "car" without either a battery, alternator, starter, radio/stereo, and without a "water system" (radiator, water pump, etc.) there's a mass of "plumbing" and "wiring". All of which is designed to last a maximum of 4 minutes (Start up to shut down). Amazing.

Keep the vids a comin' . Having crewed on a road race car and have run my own car, there is much effort that goes into racing that the casual spectator does not see, these vids fill the gap. These vids also show that sponsors need tended to as they want value for their $$, this included personal / car appearances.

This is SO INTERESTING seeing some of the construction and adjustments (driver compartment) of the car. Discussion of the clutch discs and their heat-treated hardness is wonderful. I think it would be great for young people if you could have the various people who work on the car talk about their education or how they got the experience or training needed to get their jobs working for a Top Fuel team. The level of fabricators in the Mooresville area is bananas. Hell thats where all my tig cups come from, Furick. Hopefully the move to a single company making all the NASCAR chassis didnt cause a huge talent drain from that area. Would be SUPER interested in seeing the hoses and electrical connectors you guys run on the topfuel stuff.

One of the reasons that I am in North Carolina in Concord, which is right outside of Mooresville, is because of the Motorsports involvement. Yes, being a hard core Draqg Racer can be rough in NASCAR land, but the technology sharing available is great! So glad to have more NHRA teams in the area! Got lucky and had Tasca right across the street when they were in Concord! Lots of fun the couple of times they brought the car outside and test fired it! Shook the whole area and that wonderful sound!
