What I need as a theatre operator are flexible framing shutters (just like the Mac III has). In what angle can the framing shutters be turned?

Hi, the 4 blades of the framing shutter will allow you to create every shapes (triangles included), together with a +/- 45° rotation of the full system on 2 focal planes. You can also achieve the “Total Curtain" effect allowing the full blackout with each single blade.

​@@easybeatz1 we use two focal planes for a much better focusing, emulatating also a 4 focal plane with an extended modality. Since the two focal plane system, there are some calculation made by the firmware in order to avoid positions where the two opposite blades can interfere to each other.
