In this video, Clayton is going to talk about three signs that he's falling in love.
If you're searching for signs that a man is in love, you're probably coming from a place of feeling a bit anxious, that you're beginning to fall for this guy and you don't want to make a mistake and get hurt and you're wondering whether or not he's on the same page.
The point of this video is to help move you from being inside your head, down more into your body and your heart so you can begin to relax and let go. You begin to go with this experience and allow it to unfold in whatever way it needs to unfold and have the most fun possible.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN HE’S FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOU??
What happens with any human that's falling in love, we get to a place where it begins to feel like a crisis point.
[01:28] LOVE UNEXPRESSED FINDS A WAY OUT
However, there's also another side of falling in love that is quite terrifying and when this emotion isn't necessarily expressed, if a guy's falling in love with you and he's not necessarily expressing and saying I love you what very well might be happening is that this emotional experience is going to come out in these interesting ways.
[02:07] SIGN #1: HE IS IN AWE OF YOUR UNIQUENESS
What happens when someone falls in love and what creates that honeymoon stage is quite literally there are chemical reactions in our mind that cause us to begin to drop judgment.
We start to see our partner in a way where it's almost like we're seeing them through these rose-colored glasses. We start to see them in a way that just bring love and acceptance to them.
Love begins to dissolve the boundaries and the judgments that we have about other people and they cause us to step forward and want to merge with that person.
[05:04] SIGN 2: THERE IS AN EMOTIONAL FRAGILITY TO HIM
Because love tends to rip us open involuntarily to a new level of vulnerability, it can be unsettling experience for men, primarily because men don't typically have the same emotional capacity or expression as women especially if they're raised in a traditional society.
And what that means is that when he's with you, there's a certain level of fragility to him. There's a certain way that he is perhaps maybe stressed out, or he's getting triggered easily. He may become jealous. He may become kind of possessive. There could be a clinginess that occurs as well. There could be an anxiety that is there.
These are all signs that he's getting attached to you, not necessarily, that you're doing anything wrong but rather that he's beginning to move into a certain place of vulnerability psychologically.
[05:47] SIGN 3: THERE IS A DEEP AND WIDE CONNECTION FORMING
Let's start with a wide connection of what that looks like. What that means is that there are multiple places, multiple categories in his life where you begin to see more of.
What that might look like is he starts to introduce you to his friends. He starts to show you off to his family.
[06:57] AWARENESS AND CONNECTION
Within this depth of emotional connection, I'm going to call this awareness and Consideration.
What it means is that there's a certain amount of awareness. There's a depth of awareness that he is beginning to have about you, about the things that you like and want, perhaps him being able to do things for you without you even asking for them, maybe there's some type of thing that you mention in passing and suddenly he just jumps in and ends up doing it on another day, and what you are completely surprised by is how close he was listening to you.
There is an uptick in his presence when he's with you. He's really focused.

My bf said a man will play with your hair if he’s in love with you! I was laying in his arms one night and he was rubbing my head and running his hands through my hair! He definitely protects me! He picks me flowers! No other man has ever done that! He cooks for me, cleans house! He even shaved my legs for me the other night just out of the blue for more reason! I’ve never had a man do these things for me! I love him so much and I have no doubt he feels the same!

100% agreed that men have a certain look in their eyes when they love u. U will feel it. It may seem corny but I know it to be true. Also, 100% agreed that if a man loves u his friends and family will treat u well. If u find disrespect from people around him, walk away. Also, a guy that wants to have no part in ur problems or protecting u, does not love u.

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone. Women tend to be more emotional, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Most women like to do affectionate things with their female friends like cuddling with them, while most men would never do affectionate things with their male friends (especially not cuddling with them). Men are usually much lonelier than women are. Men don't often talk about their personal problems with their male friends like how women do with their female friends. Females produce a lot more oxytocin than males do. And that's a reason why women tend to hug a lot more and be a lot more physically affectionate than men do. Women are very unique creatures, and women feel a lot safer in general with other women than they do with men if either is alone with each other, and it is easier for women to trust other women more than it is to trust a man. Women are very sociable with each other, so if something goes wrong, they like to speak about it to each other. This is a way to develop trust among women. Women often relate their problems with other women, which makes them feel more connected in a way. Most daughters have a very strong bond with their mother, while they don’t have one with their father, and most sons don’t have that strong of a bond with neither their mother nor their father. Most females have a very strong bond with their sisters, while they don’t have one with their brothers, and most males don’t have that strong of a bond with neither their sisters nor their brothers. The bond that two females have with each other is the strongest bond of them all, and that's one of the reasons why sayings like “girls always have to stick together” exist. The friendship of males and females can hardly be as good as a female to a female relationship from a woman’s point of view. How can a man and woman have a special strong type of bond with each other if women have a special strong type of bond with each other while men don’t have one with each other? Also, males and females are both mentally and physically different from each other, and that would effect the bonding between them.

And they do. Discernment is crucial, and if we get played we have to forgive _ourselves!_ Then the user fades in importance and we can/must forgive them so we're not chained to them forever. This is how we get free of toxic ppl: By first forgiving ourselves, which dumps our feelings of embarrassment and we can learn and grow and develop discernment free of the embarrassement that keep us from moving on. See, if we let ourselves be embarrassed by a situation or a person then we give up ownership of it, they have power over us by our letting them own it, thus making ourselves helpless to move on: Chained forever. But if we can say, ''Well, that didn't go as planned! _I_ fell into that: What can _I_ _learn_ from it / what can _I_ _gain_ from it to make myself more effective? WE then own the situation and its consequences and WE control our future so that we _can_ learn from it. Which makes the final step simple: ''Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do'' in the famous words of the most discerning person Earth ever hosted as he was being executed for showing love. We can do that! And we have to or we blunder along hurting ourselves through eternity, or so it seems.

I remember my bfs first sign - he introduced me to his nieces. He's very protective of them and wanted to wait to do that because of previous bad experiences. After that he included me in his interests - showing me places he liked, offering to let me use his PS4 (he's a gamer), and hanging out with his friends. The next and one of the most significant was when he told me he trusted me. He has trust issues so it really meant a lot that he opened up like that. The last thing I noticed was when he started talking about serious future plans with me. He's a very careful person and very direct so I knew that these showed he's serious about me.

Hell yeah and yesterday I told my friend who was standing infront of the mirror that he‘s beautiful and he should hurry up to come cuddle (which we always do). And a while after I showed him a note I took on my phone which said „holy sh*t I forgot how beautiful he was...“ Deep down I already knew he didn’t have the same feelings but it didn’t stop me to tell him at least one beautiful thing about him because all I want is him to understand how much I care about him. How much he means to me. That he‘s so crazy beautiful in so many ways and I wish I could show them all to him. I don’t regret telling him in words. It‘s hard to describe what I feel. But according to all the videos I just watched I guess I am somewhat falling in love with this person or at least crushing on him.

How long does it take men to fall in love? I had a first date with a man and I’ve never had a man look at me the way he did, I felt this intense connection, absolutely insane like I can’t describe it. Almost as if I felt like he’s the one.

Hit the nail right on the head with your opening lines...'falling for him dont, wanna get hurt, so coming from a place of anxiety..a tough place to be in.' I'm right at this place, the fear swept over me when I realised I'm falling in love and I don't wanna get hurt. I felt I wanted to run away from him cos he is showing signs he is doing the same and I'm so scared . Everything you say seems to be where we're both at. Very useful information. Thanks.

In the same regard, once you feel like your partner accepts the things about you that you're apprehensive about, when the "honeymoon" starts wearing off it can be devastating when they make derogatory comments about those things you thought they were okay with. It's a lot easier to "fall in love" than it is to stay there.

Seeing all these signs in the man I'm involved with, even though I never thought we'd be where we are. Also, look out for him fighting it and himself with self-sabotage If he's been severely betrayed and damaged his psyche will make him act out at things you might think are insignificant. He does this as a defense mechanism to try to keep from getting crushed if he's not sure if you feel the same. Sometimes, it looks like a toddler pitching a fit. How have I dealt with it? Unlike the majority of women, I get quiet and let him have at it. Or I leave the situation saying in a calm voice "when you're done and have made your decision we can talk". Yelling or trying to figure it out, or trying to make it better does not work. Let him battle with himself then accept an invitation to hear what he has to say. Like the signs in this video, which are all true by the way, if he is falling in love with you but can't say it because of fear of vulnerability and betrayal, he will at times make things seem impossible and almost act like a different person all together. It's his old persona that he had to carry in his previous intimate relationships fighting with his new desire to want to believe he's allowed to be happy and can trust in you. Wow, that ended up being a lot longer than I intended.

I really appreciate you for sharing this. You are describing verbatim what I have been experiencing, with a person who has, otherwise, been an absolutely extraordinary man and lover to me. It's been so painful, I cry so much, and my self-esteem has been plummeting. I feel so confused all the time, about who this person really is. I have been extracting myself from the relationship, because I am unable to discern whether this behavior is going to improve, or if it is the onset of what will develop into abuse. My gut tells me something is not right, but my heart is not is not at peace with that, the Love between us is unforgably sincere, and no matter how much I watch, read, or listen too, I cannot sort out psychogically what is going on here. Nothing 'fits'. He demonstrates almost every single sign that ive come across from all the coaches, for a man who is invested, serious, and falling in love. But he keeps having these episode of anger, just like you describe, and I can tell its insecurity, but its all fight fight fight fight fight, and getting accused of things I didn't say/think/imply/mean. My mind gets twisted into knots and my heart breaks deeper every time. There is no effort to create resolution on his part, whatsoever, ever. He accepts no responsibility or accountability, and only rarely apologizes, but does not demonstrate remorse. He will just, all of a sudden start being nice again, and "put it all behind" and "move forward", but he never fully comes back to me, and then the anger all comes back again, and again and again, increasingly fueled by previous angers that never got resolved, bcs he doesn't want to process it and build from it. Its shredding my heart, and my self-esteem, and my confidence, and my sense of value and self-worth~~ all of which, are things that I deeply need to develop and build and make stronger, even on the very best of days. Thanks for listening🙏🏽 and for sharing🙏🏽 please dont feel obligated to respond, but i appreciate any insight you may have if you feel called to share. God bless🌹

@@freshstrt3140 have a look into personality disorders like narcissism. And also attachment styles. For some people it's an automatic self defense mode and for others it's calculated, strategic abuse to have their own needs met at your expense.
