Direction of sigma12 is in direction of e2 so I think the first term in Fe2 should be positive 9:55

At 8:03, I noticed the vertical traction vector about the axis e2 (tn2) is mislabeled. Best, Brandon

Hey Clayton, first of all thanks for the amazing content you put on KZbin ! Around 14:55 you mention that you are going to demonstrate why the Cauchy stress tensor is symetrical in a later video. I have been looking for a proper demonstration for years. Does this video exist by now ?

correction: in the diagram 9:45 in the direction of e2 there should be tn2 not tn3

the video is helpful but I wish you'd explained more about where the signs came from in newtons equation of motion; unless there are typos the equations don't seem to align with what you are saying out loud.
