I watch all of clayton video have for long time. I'm finally got mg to say it there is no reason for him to have 60 k subscribers. He should be over 500 k all day. He takes time out of explaining how to fish and what can possibly be best for the day and showed what he fishing with and strait up catches giants and is just very humble and a great fisherman. He crushes it on the hard water . U the man clayton .

I wish man! To me he is better than the googan boys because there all about just making content and chasing the clout. Clayton makes if feel as of were along with for the trip. Awesome video Clayton...but I have a tip for you on cooking canned food. After logging in the mountains for a full winter I learned the best way to cook in a can is to leave it sealed shut...cook until the lid starts to crown outwards and take off the heat. Let cool for awhile and you will have a perfectly pressure cooked meal. The sealed can causes the food to circulate and not burn...use medium heat not super hot.

I cant recommend ice fishing for lake trout enough. The fish are so tricky and smart, bumping the line, toying with it, following your bait around. A really rewarding challenge.

Great content as usual! It would seem like Mac is already a legend but a bump from you can’t hurt any! Nice fish for both of you. If you’re able to get those tubes in pearl white I would load up. I will stuff the tube with cotton and fill the cotton filled tube with trout scent and have tons of luck, not that you need tips to catch lots of fish but thought I would offer up anyway.

Do you mainly watch the flasher side of the helix? Why don't you use the flasher and the zoom 2D sonar view instead? So you can see 2x to 8x zoom on the right side for more details of action on the bottom?

Hey Clayton, I have put in some work lake trout fishing here in Alberta, and I've found a pattern at night where I am able to absolutely hammer lakers using glow lures! Have you ever gave much thought or effort into night fishing Lake Trout? Maybe a lake trout overnight camping slay fest?! Just an idea for a new challenge!! (Airplane jigs with glowing bucktail are the ticket, by the way lol)

Well that look like it was a great time. Would love to get up to Canada sometime. Unfortunately my season was cut short due to a a shattered right heel bone only got to go out four times this season. If I'm lucky I can have surgery in a week so there might be a slight chance of getting back out this seething towards late ice. Keep up the great content man you're an awesome fisherman and just a great all-around guy. Keep up the grind

I think I'm more excited for my friends to get that experience than I am for myself! That said, I won't turn down a new PB if the opportunity arises!
