This time I stayed at “HOTEL RESOL KYOTO KAWARAMACHI SANJO” in Kyoto.
This hotel is inexpensive, but very clean and offers a taste of Japan.
It is very conveniently located near the shopping area of Kyoto.
Prices are at time of shooting.

I traveled a lot and noticed budget hotels in Japan are often nicer than premium priced hotels in the US. I noticed the same in Germany and few other European countries.

Wow! That place is very nice! And less expensive than the hostels I stayed in 20 years ago! Of course, the hostels did give me the opportunity to meet and talk with people from many different countries.

Thank you for sharing with us. My brother visited Japan and absolutely loved it. The one funny incident was when a lady took his reserved seat when he left to use the restroom. He sat opposite her saying nothing, then she leaned over and handed him a sweet, he said later he felt like nine years old.🤣😊. I have every intention of visiting so your videos are Very useful. 😊🌸
