this story line is so true and down to earth. Most pop songs are about happiness or breaking up with your ex, but this song is about a teenage mother trying to bring up her baby and keep him safe whilst she tries to bring a bit of money in by pole dancing and entertaining men at a pub. The dad's not there and she's trying to bring up her child so he can have a nice life unlike hers. It's one of those songs that you have to really listen to the lyrics to actually know what the song's about. It's sad but it has a great tune. My favourite song at the moment.

I find this song is especially beautiful because i was dumped in front of an adoption center or whatever when i was only a few month old. I really do believe that the pole dancing that this mother does as a job in this video also symbolizes all the jobs that mothers have to do that aren't socially acceptable,all the struggle at any point in order to raise their babies(because let's face it,we're always babies to them). My mother is not single but we're talking about mothers in here....she's worked very hard to raise me,she's amazing. There is a story behind people's actions don't look down on others because you really don't know whats happening in their life. That person working in Mc'Donanlds is on their way to finishing their law degree, or just escaped an abusive relationship and this is the only job they could manage to find to carry themselves. I never met my mum because she died while she was giving me birth. When my older sister learned about that she blamed me, she said it was my fault that our mum is dead. I think some people disliked it, because the message of the music video was emotionally saddening. Kind of like when you see dislikes on animal rescue videos. Those dislikes were probably given because they hated how those animals were abused beforehand. At least that's my theory.

My mom and dad got divorced because my father was really really toxic and did not know how to love at all. I remember when she first told me that he was cheating on her with another woman, and her sad stories of how he always treated her badly. But still, she stands strong and keeps going for me, my brother, my sister, and her OWN life. To all those who come from broken families, whether you are mothers, or hurting children or teenagers, you are warriors. We are all warriors and survivors of a broken family. Fight on for your future!!! Edit: Heyy everyone just clearing up, i did NOT share this comment to lament and complain and share to the whole world about my family situation, I shared this comment for the sole purpose of hopefully giving hope to others who might be in the same situation. I dont know if it applies to everyone, but i know that some people who are hurting and may not have anyone to talk to about what is hurting him/her may relate to my experiences, and they may feel less alone in this fight against the darkness they feel inside.
