Emotionally moving video that hits all the right notes calling forth our better angels. Everyone is fully committed to the performance, the musicians, the audience, and especially the little girl on her daddy's shoulders. What a lovely way to hear this song for the first time. She have a decent voice, but it do not fit this song. Her dialect interferes with the song in a negative way. She did not show a higher pitch than Zara in this performance. I can hear the background singer a lot more now than when Zara singing it. That gives a feeling that her voice is not strong enough or capable to live up to the audience's expectations. Note!: I judged the artist from this performance. And i'm well aware that she can sing other songs better than this. But her voice does not work with this song. The voice is just decent here, and as an artist you don't want to be decent, you want to be on a higher level. So with this being said I think she made a mistake by singing this song as the front performer. But on the other hand.. I don't think they had a choice because they did not have Zara this day and they needed to have new songs to perform. Better to deliver a decent song than deliver nothing.

I saw Kirsten Joy sing this live at Capital Summertime Ball. She is brilliant live. She has a fantastic voice and a real stage presence about her. If a band uses big name singers in the studio, they will need other singers to tour. Zara Lara, Louise Johnson and Sean Paul are not going to tour with them. Kirsten is perfect.
