I personally use this system and it is time to order a gallon of each. As a testament I grew up in the eighties and nineties in the carpet mills in Eaton, GA. Back in the day stains were either water based or oil based. Detailers came up with fancy tannin and protein names. Those old jute backings were loose and stinky after pulling old carpet out of apartments and homes. Some yarns are great with water based stains but you can forget oil based stains. As many electronics which are in modern cars you have to be careful wet extracting because once the water gets in the foam you have problems. Thank you for another awesome video!

So I steam cleaned my dad’s entire Lexus interior using this method yesterday and I cannot believe how well it came out. No need for water and drill brushes and extraction. Steam cleaner, towels and the P&S system not only made it look amazing but more importantly eliminated residual smells from old yucky car fragrances. Thank you so much for making this video! Also carpet bomber and steam did a great job on some horrific seat belts as well!

I worked in carpet cleaning for years and oversaturation is a common mistake made by cleaners in many industries. I've been a detailer for years now and use real profession carpet cleaning solution with steam on the seats and floors followed with a brush and extraction. the less water the better. finish off with a solution that prevents mold and odors. your approach is solid and products seem high quality. looking forward to getting them. great demo

That is so cool. So this means detailer are cleaning interiors of vehicles wrong. Oh geez. I have a 2000 Camry LE that was given to me by my late cousin it was his father's Camry. Unfortunately his father, my cousin, and his son smoked cigar. One day about two weeks ago I took hot tap water and a microfiber washcloth and cleaned the vinyl and just a small part of the drivers sit hot water with the microfiber washcloth. This was just the front of the Camry. I haven't done the back part of the Camry yet. It turned the water in a two gallon bucket dark brown. What is this stuff because I don't smoke? The carpet has something on it in a small area of the carpet that looks like either coffee or a coke stain. It's has a real gummy feel to it. The carpet on the drivers side is worn. No carpet floor Matt's. So I bought some. There not the best but they'll do. I'm trying to restore the Camry and customize it too. I don't have a streamer. Thanks much for the video.

I've always ran a fan or two inside after shampooing till it's totally dry. I've never had an issue with residue or smells.

I have pol star and the 3 step system. Pol star is great for light to moderate carpets, but when they are pretty trashed and stained the p&s system just works. I use steam over an extractor so I’m sure with the extractor there’s some extra cleaning power with pol star. I like both

I just spray some APC and agitate. Then pressure wash. Works great. I don’t want to spend 2 hours cleaning a mat. Spray some Purple Power and scrub then towel it up. Then brush the carpet then vacuum it. All this is great in theory but can get expensive and really unnecessary. I’m not saying this isn’t great stuff, just not practical to a detailer. If the carpet is too bad I just turn the job down. No harm no foul. I have to ask myself is the time, expense and effort worth it. I’ve tried everything this is just not practical.
