Congratulations on your new baby I am pregnant too. I was gonna ask a question about your crib mattress is it firm or soft? Is it good for a new born? Is it waterproof I'm in the process looking at cribs? I'm not sure what to get I don't have a whole lot of money. My name is Michelle I am Joe's wife. I am a foster mom to 2 boys 5 and 6.

Hi love! Congratulations on your baby. The mattress I got is firm and it is waterproof the covering over it is more like a plastic then cotton which is safer for newborns. I got it from buybuy baby and it was very affordable
