Bethany, I can’t begin to tell you how much I have giggled and laughed during your video and also felt sad and sorry for your losses. I know how hard it is to face loss because like most people I have had a degree of it in my life too. As far as Penny, go out and read The Rainbow Bridge. If you have never read it before you will cry but in the end you will feel so much better and it will really help in your healing process. Having said that, I think the house is absolutely adorable! Everything coordinates so well and I love the fact that you moved around pieces of furniture to be fresh and exciting for the holiday season. Bethany two years ago I lost 6 family members in 5 months. I went into such a deep depression for over a year. But something has changed this year! I keep busy watching diys and it has made me change my thinking to decorating and creating! It may sound cheesy but I’m so so thankful for you and other you tubers! I’m sooo sorry you’ve lost so many loved ones. 😔 I lost my sister six years ago three months before Christmas and that Christmas was very emotional and I cried when I decorated my tree but I kept thinking of her and how much she loved Christmas and I knew she would want me to carry on with decorating because I was her favorite holiday. Just watching the preview at the beginning got me excited to see what you'd come up with for your new house this year and it was every bit as inspiring as I expected! I just love what you did and you gave me so many ideas for my own holiday décor this year, which I'm doing this week. I've been watching this in segments for days now finally trying to get a chance to finish. What a great job! I am not even a farmhouse décor fan but this is just perfect. I love the tree and the fairy lights in various places. I think my favorite place to decorate would be that window as well. Love what you did with it. Everything is so pretty and magical.

Loved your video, I have watched your channel for years and this is my favorite video. I am sorry for all your losses this year. The year I was 40 my mother passed away from cancer. The next several Christmases were difficult. What kept me going was having children at home, I needed to make the holidays special for them. I love your decor style, everything is beautiful. I think I am going to get some fairy lights, they add so much. We call our living room, dining room area the great room. Thanks for wonderful video!

Things are never quite the same after you lose family members, especially during the holidays. But the first year is the absolute hardest. It will get easier as time goes but will always be a mix of sad and happy times of precious past memories and making new special memories. Your home and decorations are beautiful!! I’m so sorry for your loss this year, we lost a bunch of people in our family in 2015, so I know how you feel, it’s really tough and you can’t explain how you feel not having those special people with you during the holidays. This year I lost my mom and it’s going to tough this year for us too. She was 93 and I too feel blessed that I even had her with us for that long, but its really going to be a tough one this year. I love this video. Everything looks amazing, Bethany. I love the "Jesus is the reason" pillow that you put front and center on your couch. You said you were thinking about adding something behind your couch. I once used a full length mirror (the light-weight, cheap ones stores sell for college kids to use in their dorms) ,hot glued flowers/greenery to match my bedroom and hung it sideways above my bed. It added a little depth and decor to the room. I am sorry for your your losses this year. It is very difficult, especially during the holidays. Thank you for bringing us joy, even in your sadness. Bethany, you took me on such an emotional roller coaster with this video. I was so excited to see you make your house so beautiful and put up your decorations and Christmas trees. Then I felt so sad for you hearing you talk about your difficult year. I knew you suffered losses but I didn’t realise it was five, Wow. That’s so incredibly hard to cope with.. I can relate. I set a place for my mother at my Christmas table every for four years after I lost her to cancer in 2014. It will get better over time but the first Christmas will feel very strange.
