very true. I bought off a Japanese importer this spring, and the dump truck I received was not even the same as they had advertised. I ended up rebuilding the entire box. Wish I had seen these video's sooner! thanks for the information guys.

how is it that most of these 20 plus year old trucks all have such low mileage on them .

@@todddowney45 a.) it's Japan we're talking about, with speed limits usually in the 25-40 mph range, except on the expressways b.) these are mostly just around town/farm trucks, and c.) it's a 5 digit odometer; most have rolled over. If it's 95,000 km then that's probably correct. If it's 25,000 km? 25 years old? Come on now...

6 digit odometer on all of the 1994 and up Suzuki's and Diahatsus. 5 digit odometers where like back in the 80s. You said it yourself these are slow speed non hiway trucks they don't get driven mega distances like we do in North America. We get the export records that show the past 2 milage recording dating back 4 years and 500 to 1000 km per year usage is much more common then you think with these trucks.

It appears on the photos you showed the rear has swinging doors and not a drop gate, do the sides still drop on this kind of bed or not?

No the sides do not drop down on this style of high side bed.
